The Waqa signing is probably a trade for Reece Robinson, who has been wanting to play with his twin Travis (Now at Melbourne) for a while. Probably a good signing for both teams.

Yep, they certainly won't be our problem next year; But on the twins, Travis is ****, but Reece can play - Canberra, like us, has been a basket case the past two years and Reece's form went down the ****ter, but as a reserve fullback/winger for Melbourne he'd be a decent buy imho.

Umm you do know we end our association with the Storm at the end of the season right?
good I thought that was up soon. I hate seeing people like Penani get benched for guys like Roberts. That gets us nowhere for the future

I respectfully disagree mate I don't rate either of them, quick but that's about it. Personally I would keep wright over them

It appears DCE is going to get some serious dollars thrown at him Parra have offered $4milliion , which means goodbye Sandow, sure hes good but not that good , Ben Hunt would be a great pickup for us but with Bennett returning to Brissy it looks like he may stay . There are a few up and coming players with youth on their side up for grabs for 2016 , next year is a bust for us , I like Blake Austin For the Halves , Bryce Cartwright as a utility , Approach Tyrone Peachey , great utility , and BJ from the Knights great finisher , Kurt Mann from the Storm as fullback /Centre.

Geez Melbourne are starting to shed some players, Waqa and Glasby today, Garbutt last week, probably Hampton and Roberts, let's not forget Hoffman. Sure most of them are fringe first graders, but so far, just Blake Green coming in. Salary cap finally catching up with them?

Smith, Cronk and Slater are all the same age. Sure, they will have a ****load of cap space, but when they retire and Bellamy leaves they are in for a world of pain I think.

Its exactly the reason Bellamy signed the length of contract he did - he will run as the place explodes behind him. They will have a very long dry run without News Corp behind them.

I think we can afford that though.

I couldn't agree more. I think Storm are in for a rough trot once they lose their key players. Bellamy deciding to leave when those key players retire shows that he isn't such a great coach, and has just been lucky.

That was in regards to what HB said. I clearly didn't reply to it properly. Ohwell.

Disagree. Bellamy is a great coach who has had the benefit of plenty of resources. The fact that he may not up for rebuilding the joint after the big 3 leave is a mark against his legacy.

Oh and he must have known about the extra payments so he is a cheat and should have been suspended for a year. Still a great coach though

Littlejohn.

Littlejohn is rank average.

However that makes him a better option than what we have now.

I thought the Storm would be ****ed once Kimmorley left. Then along came Orford.

I think the only years they have missed the finals since 1998 is 2001-2002 (plus the year they got done rorting.)

They'll be right after the big 3 retire.

I don't think they will be a force like they are now, 3 x great players (2 x future immortals) all in influential positions, roughly the same age coming through the ranks at the same time, it might happen again but its the sort of thing that happens rarely.

I like the Peach but if the Sharks weren't willing to pay him what he wanted to stay last year there's Buckley's chance of them paying his new price after 2 seasons of FG under his belt

I think we can afford that though.
Doesn't matter if we can. DCE would view a move to the Sharks as a big backwards step in his young career and poised with too much risk which would potentially hurt him in the long run

It would take a whole new level of 'paying overs' to have him even consider us as an option

So the young bloke with the running game as his major strength to be played at 7?
I never understand this suggestion
