I love Heino but if he plays on with us I would expect that he is more "depth" going forward and that his current bench spot is filled by a younger up and coming player next year.

We really can't afford to not start to blood some more young guys to fill Gal, Lewie and Heino's (if he stays) spots after next season, that's why I think Heino should go this year. Gal end of next and Lewie end on 2019. We don't want to hold onto a player for 1 season too long.
Just my opinion

If our plan for heighno was to put him in reserves, he'll leave. And im ok with that. I just hope if we dont want him to go round, we show him respect there. Premiership winner, and got knows in 2014 when the chips were down he gave it a crack every single week

I agree, certainly Not doubting/ questioning his commitment for us but I just think we need to move on, especially now that both Gal and Lewie are playing on.
We need to keep "regenerating" our roster otherwise we will have too big a hole to fill in a year or two when we lose all of them at the same time. We need to stagger it. If that means sacrificing one, then I pick Heino (nothing personal against him, but out of those 3, he is the one I'd let go first).

the only reason im worried about the heighno re-signing is that, the fact we have 3 vets that will likely retire together. meaning we have those holes to fill (bakuya for gal though).

Footy wise, youd have heighno in ur team though

Yes, it will mean we'll have to replace those guys pretty quickly and our forward stocks will plummet a bit.

No matter though, I can take a few lean years if we win the comp again this year.

Gray 2 years

So we could have either:

1. Dugan 2. Feki 3. Gray 4. Leutele 5. Holmes

Sounds like gray is a done deal

NOOOOOOOOOO !!!

They say bad things happen in 3's

1. NSW Origin loss
2. Sharks signing Gray ( FMD the very definition of underwhelming ) Souths will probably score Peachey as a replacement
3. Whats next ???

He's not as bad as some are making out although the price that was bandied around recently is too much.

He hasn't exactly shone in the centres in the last few games but I was impressed with him last season and before his injury this year.

He's quick in open space. He seems to have a really good pass on him as well.
