Plenty of offloads from the big man but too much crabbing.
running straight is getting him no where, he doesn't have a choice if he wants to create something which the crabbing sometimes does

he looks fit but lacking power and speed to make impact in his straight out runs and getting cut down easy. musta been ages since he hasnt had issues in his legs of some sort

Someone has to make the big call and rest him this Sunday.

I know he's good for the team to be on the field support wise and to give everyone confidence but it's not helping.

If, for the morale of the team, he needs to be in the 17 then have him start from the bench, give him the last 15 minutes before half time, then give him a spell with 20 mins to go.

he look so injured on sunday

He looks injured regularly

He ended last season looking injured often and started again this season looking injured.

I think he's not coping as well with the loss of his PCL as some do, or there is another significant underlying issue, and he needs surgery and likely months out.

A tough call to make when he is still capable of playing big, relatively effective minutes with the occasional dominant performance.

But he definitely doesn't look the same player to me.

Potentially best bet is Bomber to convince him he wants to give BHU a taste of starting and get away with benching Fifita for a game & if it made a big difference we would have a decision to make.
With Fifitas personality he's just as likely to play worse if he got dropped to bench as he is to play better and it doesn't necessarily contribute to his recovery either, that's more minute management if anything.

The problem is he would have sat out a game or two if we were healthy, having so many injuries is a bitch. You end up needing to play guys who aren't 100% and win games to stay in touch with the 8. Personally if we end up in a reasonable position with Woods and Graham back and inside the 8 I would rest him or reduce his minutes for a few weeks.

And still knocks out a tonne in supercoach... I'm torn!

But.. for our Sharkies, I think he needs to have his minutes managed better. We any have very serviceable forward depth ATM.

Just watched the last 5 mins of the GF again. Almost had a cry on a peak hour train. So good.
