had alot more spring in his step tonight, seems refreshed. far less lethargic, more urgency and haste

most post contact metres of any forward and he was played from the bench, 2nd most PCM in the team behind Ika

missed a few tackles, so did everyone

he was good, better than I was expecting . well done Aiden, keep it up

I thought Tolman was pretty good for us on Friday. I just don't think he is the guy to give the ball to when we are close to the try line though. Would prefer one of the power forwards like Hunt, Uele or Talakai to have the pill in their hands charging full steam.

He was good at his role last Friday but a similar style to Finucane on the field so we need something different to break the line & hoping Williams can provide that line breaking punch when he is ready to return together with McInnes also being there. Both Hunt & Talakai need to improve on last week's effort .

One of his carries close to the line he almost half broke through and took some stopping by about 3 tacklers. He seems rejuvenated but agree he is prob not forward we want to be going to for a crash play too often or relying on to get his nose through the line. Bonus if he gives us that on occasion.

While considered depth in pre-season I am happy for him to stay in the team on Fridays performance. Who misses out is the tough thing - Talakai perhaps who is prob the only forward that hasn't impressed me thus far in 2022, though limited opportunity

Maybe playing Tolman from the bench isn't such a terrible idea if it gives Dale a breather and helps keep things tight in the middle while he is off but I am not against starting him alongside Dale either if it helps us stay in the contest early and striking back as the opposition tires.

3 games to go till he joins the 300 gamers club. Well deserved IMO. Been such a solid/consistent player his whole career.

that pass Aiden threw after the Talkai kick that bounced off a drags player was good awareness and didn't go for the selfish carry/barge over (maybe just tired lol) which would have halted our shift right

can't leave him out of my 17, had another solid game

had same tackle stats as Dale, 29 made for no misses

Will bring up his 300TH game in the top flight next week and thoroughly deserves his place in that company.

Hope the doubters can keep their slander to a minimum for the next week in respect to that fact.

His performances this year should already have silenced a few.

I remember feeling glad he was out there when our line was under sustained attack in the rain.

At any given time our middle defence has a combination of BB, Dale, Cam and Tolman on the field, if not all four.

Do people realise how insane that is?
Game in hand of course but we are currently 4 of top 5 tacklers and 5 of top 10 (top 9 even).

On average Brailey is 3rd, Dale and Nikora are 17th and 18th, Teig and Toby are 33rd and 34th, and Tolman is 47th
All averaging above 30.
2021 season ended we had 11 (Blayke), 21 (Tolman) and 43 (Rudolf) in top 50
So small sample size but we look like we have much greater capacity to work than last year, and that's without even using Cam properly yet.

Hynes is current points leader which I'm keen to see him stay in the race for...
