Aiden running back behind the play to get under our posts at just the right moment to intercept that Newcastle pass and send it dead was probably one of the most Tolman things I have seen.

Those sort of efforts are what sum him up

I know we arn't gunna lose much in attack but I'm gunna miss this bloke when it comes to our D and just his general wholesome good vibes and professionalism

I honestly think we need this bloke more in the finals than Fifita solely for his defence.

Yeah think he’ll keep his spot but Fitz has shown preference to Fifita too. I feel we’re covered attack wise so could use his defence

Fifita actually has a higher tackle efficiency this year than Tolman. Which is crayz

Fifs defense has been refreshingly good but if he were playing the same sort of minutes as Tolman that tackle % would likely fall south of Tolmans. Fifs is low minute 20-25 mins while Tolz is 30-55 mins

Every players defense seems to have improved under Fitz as the season went on though which is the pleasing and important thing ultimately - our forwards D in particular is far better than what we got the last few seasons. We aren't soft around the middle anymore

Fifitas D has stayed pretty good through the last few years. It was his running and total capacity that were the issue more so.

Has the capacity to get beat badly by speed but virtually every big middle does.

Luckily he's more often than not surrounded by really good defenders these days. That and the 20 minutes a game don't hurt!
