His price is going to be rock bottom... amazing fall considering the games he had for Newtown and being given a good crack at a first grade spot

Billy being looked at by the dogs, tigers, Titans and warriors.
I could see him going alright with the Titans style of attack for some reason. Though they may be looking to get away from that style by letting Peachey go.

I'm not sure it's that amazing of a fall or much of a surprise, at least not imo. He looked real good in Holden cup and was pretty excited to see him progress but never really kicked on.

His games for the Jets were fine but hardly dominated. yes he did two flukey kicks and if not for those Jets don't win so grateful for that but if he didn't do those kicks I'd say half the supporter base wouldn't know who he is.

If only he spent less time getting triggered by social media and feeling the need to fire back.

This and his flamboyant name.

Seen plenty of other team fans try and say he is really good or can't believe other players are getting a go ahead of him who know nothing about him other than those two kicks.

People with funny long names don't do so well in this state
Nothing funny about his name numb nut, maybe you're just that thick that you can't pronounce it, what a boring old world it would be if we were all Smiths.

Wouldn't it ever, Jim. And I appreciate you using your 296th message in 12 years to comment, it's a rare privilege.

To put your mind at ease, it was topical call-back to a quote from Gladys, who said when she was elected something about it being unusual that someone (a woman specifically, but that wasn't very relevant here...) with a funny/long name (something like that anyway) had gotten elected.

Just something this 'numb nut' (just the one, or can I feel the other?) remembered.

I was hoping he'd get an extension with us. Finucane, McInnes and Tolman will be the defensive glue while our Hunts and Talakais can provide the impact. Wouldn't mind signing another short-burst impact benchie.

Tolman is fine on the cheap, we know he will do a solid job when asked, hopefully won't need to see too much of him though.

As Burg alluded to in other thread we could use a genuine starting prop, but can't imagine how we afford one when we have all that money tied up in Fifita. If he is back running (with Sifa at Shark Park) odds are he is sticking around for another year so we can't afford to do much better in the prop department than Aiden.

Very happy to have Tolman for one more year. Can be a great bench option and depth. Whoever trains and plays better gets the Jersey and that's how it should always be.

Someone like Tariq Sims who can play edge or middle I think would be perfect in our current situation. Starts normally in the 11 or 12 but can shift to the middle of short on troops.
