Definitely a better pick up than Tamou - only made bang on 100m last three games combined, and still under 200 if you add the game before that in too (which was a win against his old side)
I thought he was a good deal at the price he signed for and probably isn't helped by overall garbage team but hard to believe of the two 32 year olds he is the one with 12 tests to his name

Took the early plea and will miss this week. I guess we might see the return of Royce Hunt.

He was 19th man last week so you'd assume he's fit. Match fitness is prob an issue but he's not going to get any time for the Jets anytime soon.

Issue is that Tolman plays big minutes, so others will need to take on more. Williams I feel could easily play more minutes, same with Uele. Rudolf doing enough already.

Tolman was statistically our best defender on the weekend (had an average game) but I have noticed a habit of swinging the arm a bit high. maybe a consequence of being a stocky bloke that plays long minutes and isn't agile on his feet

a player like Tolman you really need to be near perfect when it comes to discipline and errors cause he isn't gunna get you a big line break or points (I get that's not what he is there for)

He's played like 10yrs with ****all charges & has copped what 3-4 in 2021 alone? The game is broken & the entire season needs a big * by it. Breaking all these winning records, points, tries, TAs, etc. isn't worthy.

good point - something the NRL needs to acknowledge. Either the rules now over reach or dirty players have been getting away with it for a decade +

Tolman isn't a dirty player

We want to increase speed but if you make mistakes we'll be extra harsh to punish you
We want to protect the players heads but force fatigued players to struggle with technique and risk head clashes
You need to adjust your technique to tackle lower but make sure you wrap up the ball or offloads will destroy you
If you try wrap up the ball and they drop it we will penalise you for it
If you make a good legs tackle let go straight away or we'll give 6 again and fatigue you more

Getting skinny on the forward with Tolman and Fifita out. Hopefully Wilton is back.

Should add
If you make a perfect dominant tackle we will call held straight away and rob you of a fair and deserved drop out

Did you listen to the refs report on NRL.com today???
Annesley was going through the “controversial decisions” and having a whinge about the coaches and media having a whinge about the refs.
He had some points about the missed tackle, dropped ball etc and they are fair enough and then raised this tackle and said “the ref called held 4 times”
He failed to explain why the ref called held so quickly in that situation and also that is was a deciding decision so late in the game. The muppet reporters on the zoom call with him didn’t ask him those question either (crickets after that clip) but when it came to the Panthers (Cleary hit on Bird) and Roosters penalty late after the high shot, they asked like a billion around those calls!
