hoping coutts is a late call up in jersey #28 like taukamo was last year. im assuming bradburys still in rehab too

we signed a gun hooker in aaron keppie from wests sgball this year. im happy with hohepa playing fill in hooker at 3rd pick but we probably want a specialist coming thru in the next year or two
With Sam, Chaz and Taj all gone we def need a decent prospect on the books

am i imagining it or does hosking dabble at hooker?

wouldnt imagine hohepas "debut" game will be played out of his preferred position

I thought that too but wasn’t sure enough to add it
Not sure how much value we’d get out of running him there for a bit
I’d guess very little but that could be different to what Fitz sees

We had Healey but let him go :?
Yeah sam healey
He is too close to NRL ready for our squad. Made personal sense for him to leave and we didn’t need him enough to pay up for him to be happy being the depth guy. He’s chasing an opportunity we don’t expect to be able to offer

i actually saw healey, erin clarke and others coming in from training at mt smart last friday when i was there. i had a quick yarn to him and asked him how he found coming from training on the sydney beaches to the fumes and industry central of auckland. said i was gutted to see him leave but found solace with him coming to the warriors. also asked him if he was just using this as a stepping stone to getting nrl ready before heading back and he just laughed

Kennedy being named is very interesting, possible Ison and Dykes both unavailable but rest of the first choice spine rested so maybe he is in danger

Warriors are near full strength. Looking forward to seeing some of the younger foreards go up against the likes of JFH, Barnett, Capewell etc

Interesting that Lachlan Crouch is the next in line in the Prop department. I guess it makes sense.

Also Eli Clark official.
Happy to see we are still using our first choice coach thou, but Maybe we can switch him out at halftime (save him for the bigger matches and the season proper).

Couple of interesting picks in that line--up, very possible I'm reading too much into though.

Laban starting with Niukore on the bench
Clark 13, Walker well down the list

Looks like Healey might have gone past Lussick on the depth chart already as well

First trial matches always have surprises with the squads named.

Trial 2 is usually where you get a clearer indication on what the actual round 1 side will look like.

Warriors fan here. Sharks are my second team and lots of players transferring between our two teams this past year!

Looking forward to the first hit out of the season. The Warriors have there strongest lineup (bar injury) as we play in Vegas first round.

Wishing you guys a great season. With AFB you guys are contenders for the title this year.
