Dykes. But not by serious people
I think plenty have mused that Dykes might get the 6 eventually, but until we see start kicking the ball I think it's unlikely.
I've been the most critical of Trindall. Has been making too many errors and he doesn't provide any quality ball to his own edge. First one is easily fixable but the second imo is a bigger issue. Just my opinion though.
Objectively... anyone claiming Tricky was the "dominant" half or "driving the bus" on the weekend is demonstrably incorrect.
- NRL.com had him down for 32 touches last week.
- 11 were kicks and 14 were either scrum feeds, dummy half passes or clean-up plays (getting to kicks and loose balls).
- That means Trindall had 7 touches of the ball on attacking plays in 80 minutes, and none were inside his own half.
- Nicho hit 7 touches in the 11th minute when the score was nil-all, and 3 of those came in the Cronulla half
The role Trindall is playing is quite obviously supporting one, and that aligns with what the coach has said repeatedly (he says "complementary").
