That's because people have had him pencilled in as their starting 7 for like the last 3 years
I stand by my opinion that Tricky should've started earlier last season.

Moylan seemed cooked last season, but I can understand why Fitz kept him in the side after '22.

Moylan should have at least got a spell after the Melbourne game. I can understand not dropping him before that.

Hard to single out Moylan from the Storm game though. Whole team was pretty poor and his worst moments came after the team was already down by 30+.

I think in hindsight though it might have been good to have given Tricky the next 3 games against the weaker teams to get a combo going a bit earlier.

Yeah that's what I mean. We needed a change, and three easy games coming up was the time

Are we still throwing down some hot takes?

I’ll go all positives.

1) partly because of Tricky’s preference, and partly because Nicho wants to play rep footy, the Sharks halves switch sides of the field. This propels both Nicho and Teig into origin conversations. Nicho gets picked to start by game two. Teig gets in to a camp.

2) BHU rejects the Warriors deal and re-signs with the Sharks, but for just one year with a player option for 2026.

3) for just the third time since 2009, the Sharks win in round 1.

A couple of trials this weekend for the Broncos, Dolphins, Souths, and Manly. Footy is back!

Mozer and Te Kura have big wraps at Brisbane too. Manly also fielding a fair few first graders v Souths. Or at least they are in the squad.

Mozer has been hyped for a few years. I was a bit disappointed in the games I saw him play last year though. Still young, so plenty of time to get his game together.

I'm also keen to see #22 for the Broncos (Bailey Trew) go around. I played with is Dad. Haven't seen him in years but still have mutual friends.

I was hoping we might get a few more in!

Number 1 wouldn't shock me whatsoever

Not sure if this got mentioned already

More than reasonable for club to take this position with Hannay already away during origin imo.
Price must be spewing given Hannay supposedly does nothing for us or Qld and should be replaced by any decent recently retired player

I thought we'd shifted gears to Price being the problem or did I miss a memo?

Edit: my brain somehow ignored the recently retired player part of your post on the first read.

Sack them both, clearly not doing anything for us. I mean, Price can't even get a SOO gig!

It would help my agenda to bring Tolman back to the club.

Would also handle the recently retired quota...
