When we say “top teams” who are we talking about?

Sharks lost to Souths and Canberra without Nicho, choked vs the Warriors, and put in a stinker vs the Dolphins. From my point of view when we say top teams we are talking about the Brisbane and Melbourne games.

Brisbane game the Sharks had no problem moving the ball or creating opportunities. Brisbane just had outstanding try line defence and the Sharks fifth tackle options were poor.

Melbourne game the Sharks outside backs struggled to move the ball out of their own end, and the team compounded that with a bunch of errors.

All this talk about defence when Our attack against top teams is just as bad

When we don’t score it creates more pressure to turn around and defend - defence hasn’t been our strong since Flanagan left

It looks like it’s always become very easy to shut Hynes down and we’ve never looked like having a plan b when that happens

Looking forward to see what’s changed this next month
Havent got the balance right, too much Hynes, need more involvement for Moylan and Brailey

We go in with one seasoned specialist Front rower, games gonna be real hard to win. Uele or Hunt a chance for this?

So it's months later and time for the rematch and I STILL don't know why Royce Hunt was penalised for a push??? leading to a bs Warriors win.

Hopefully the refs miss their flights and we can get a fax machine to do it instead

There does seem to be a lot of optimism about us winning this game, especially from Terry and Dan's Fins Up Podcast. But I think it is a foregone conclusion that we'll lose. Warriors are in great form and showing much more steel these days. In front of their home fans, they'll want to show their win against us this year was no fluke.

We just don't have it in the forwards and while our backs are very good, I don't think they'll get room to move.

True - better defence combined with scoring more points than the other teams usually gets the win.

Sets up our revenge win in the finals nicely though

Yeah nah, you love to skip context when it doesn’t suit your views.
The only games we were in it were the Rabbitohs and Raiders games
Vs rabbits it was 27- 18
Vs raiders it was 20-24
We scored enough points and played well - these games are different and avoided by you because Trindall the almighty was playing

It’s the games against the dolphins, storm and broncos who had their origin stars back up which were the typical ones we’ve seen from us where we struggled and looked erratic

DIdnt we just lose to the Warriors?

26 - 12 sharks at half time.
30 - 24 sharks with 13 left on the clock
30 - 30 with 90 secs left on clock.
32 - 30 with 30 secs left.

Nicho had a chance to tie the game after the siren with a sideline kick but missed it.

I don’t really rate Warriors as a top team tbh (yet)

We should’ve won that game ; I think our winning ways against them will continue this week but if it doesn’t then that’ll mean they’ve really changed their ways and we are still the same

Hope JC and Tommy have strong performances. They'll most likely be dropped for Dale and BHU, with Wade keeping his spot 🙄
