Q Cup grand final is on this Sunday. 5:30pm. Will be on Kayo.

Former Sharks legends Pat Politoni and Sami Sauiluma are still running around for Burleigh (plus a few Titans players) when against Easts Tigers (plus a few Storm players).

@Born&bred Corey Thompson's final game 😥

Yes, well aware of that - his mother has been smashing facebook with old photos the last few days

Happy for NZ and SJ. But I think it’s as far as they’ll go, can’t see anything but a Broncos v Penrith final
Can't see it happening either, but would love to see Brisbane lose on the back of playing (for the bulk of the first graders) two games in six weeks.

No one in the main steam media will talk about the soft comp / soft Brissy draw this year, they will just jerk them off

Brissy hardly had to leave QLD and there has been only 1 other strong consistent team in Penrith. They got their byes at a good time of year to help them refresh.

Typically strong teams have all fallen away (Raiders, Roosters, Rabbits, Eels). Melbourne are not what they were.

When we won it in 2016 Storm, Raiders and Cows were still flying and challenging for the Premiership (Brissy had a pretty good year too)

Gus was full of **** ofcourse, there is never a soft comp in NRL - it's all relative season to season.

Brisbane have played well ofcourse and if they win the GF they will have earned and deserved it but nothing will be mentioned of their golden path towards it.

Who gives a **** about the Origin period, they arn't the only team anymore that has to donate players to it these days.

I give Melbourne a punchers chance because its Melbourne, these sort of games are their bread and butter.

Cleary potentially in doubt now with a hand injury apparently.
I don't, they've been dreadful in quite a few games this year and their best isn't what it used to be. Yes, they still finished top 4 but they're not a premiership contender for mine.

On Cleary....

Panthers star Nathan Cleary has been cleared of a finger injury after being sent to hospital for scans, as halves partner Jarome Luai completed his first contact drills since dislocating his shoulder.

Penrith officials confirmed Cleary was taken to hospital for precautionary scans after pulling out of training on Monday morning.

Worst Top 4 & Top 8 I can recall in recent times

Everyone has been meh except Panthers, Broncs and Warriors and even then they have all had their wobbly moments

Warriors have been gifted several ganes by dodgy ref calls

If sharks were one of the top 2 this year Gus would have called it a ‘weak comp’
