Dally M points
Hynes 3
Talakai 2
Ben Hunt 1

That’s got to be a complete joke doesn’t it? Every other Sharks player deserved the 1 point over him
It's been the tradition to give the losing side a point since I was a pup mate

Not really when they don’t always do that

“The judge is tasked with assessing the contribution of each player and submitting their votes to the NRL.

Judges allocate 3 points to the player they believe to be the best on field. 2 points is then assigned to the second-best and 1 point to the player they consider the third-best on field.”

Don't know the stats mate but I feel like it's common enough that it shouldn't be a surprise, was my point
Yes I know what you mean but it normally happens only when the scores are tight. Not when there is a more than 20 point difference.

True but you could also look at it from the perspective that Hunt was absolutely outstanding in a well beaten team.

As someone else said, I reckon we win by 40 if he wasn't playing.

But then the other side, how good does say Kennedy’s game help the Sharks win by that much?

He defused all Hunts kicks bombs, grubbers, stabbing kicks in goal all in torrential rain, held Hunt up from scoring at a pivotal moment, basically shutting down Hunts good game and not giving Dragons a proper sniff. Then goes up the other end of the field and his silky hands help put us in scoring positions. Without that A+ game what’s the end result?

Anyways I know Hunt played a good game and I can see people see that, I just wouldn’t of had him “3rd best on the field” with how good about 6-7 of the Sharkies played

I’m with you GTG.
There were more deserving players for that Dally M vote than the best player in the opposition that got beat by 20+

Kennedy is one that immediately comes to mind.
