... and apparently Stimson is out (in hospital) with a knee infection (from their forum).

Need a big win to keep that top 2 dream alive. Have to think that the cowboys will win their last two games (even tho I think they will get done by the bunnies this weekend).

We are 80 behind on F/A but could easily win both games by 40+ if we really wanted to. I can’t see cowboys winning by much against either side so we can definitely catch them in F/A. Annoyingly the cows won by as much as we did last week so that win over manly didn’t edge us any closer
You think cowboys will beat panthers?

Yes. They are playing at home, vs a Panthers side that has already won the minor premiership. Why would they send their best players all the way to North Queensland and risk injury the week before finals. The panthers will field their under 20s side for sure.

Panthers not resting many/any @ home against Warriors? And Warriors are far inferior to playing the Cowboys away

Guess the theory would be give them the rest 1 week before the first finals game

But you could also argue rest them this week and play the final round and go into finals with a game under your belt

Some Panthers players getting a rest regardless due injury/suspension

Old boys day and minor premiership presentation... they'll want a cricket score.

They will get it too - can't see Warriors offering much resistance with vacation time around the corner . Ivan might give some players an early shower though once they have a nice margin on the scoreboard

That’s fair reasoning. I could see a panthers team missing some players aiming up. Could be the first non sharks game I watch for the year
