I will be at this game for the last Shark Park game of the year. Would really love to put on a score here as well.

Yep, agree about Dale, no real need to play him. Even with Toby out we have the depth with Colquhorn and Hazleton.

Interesting to see if Kade is back this week or if Miller continues in the fullback role. Also hoping Ronnie is OK as we are a bit skinnier in the backs.

A win here is important to put pressure on the Cowboys. Obviously it would be great if they lost to Souths, but if not, going in on equal points next week will make them likely to have to play a decent side in rd 25 to secure the home final. Could be enough to give us an edge if we can rest our squad and hit them fresh the next week.

Fitz seems a great motivator, he talked about the importance of the Steve Rogers cup last week. Hopefully he will be getting the boys right up for the last home game of the season. Finishing 10-2 at home would cap off a great return season to shark park.

Do you guys meet before or after the game at a particular location? It would be nice to put some faces to nicknames.

If the Fox commentary is anything to go by Talakai could be back too.

Sounds like Moylan was fine to play last week but they gave him another week so I imagine they're being extra cautious with Talakai.

Maybe Dykes is back, depends how bad his calf is?

I want to see Iku stay on the wing, he's too good, and think I like him over Tracey

I think we'll name:

1. Dykes
2. Ikuvalu
3. Ramien
4. Talakai
5. Ronaldo
6. Moylan
7. Hynes
8. BHU
9. Brailey
10. Hunt
11. Nikora
12. Graham
13. Finucane

14. Teig
15. McInnes
16. Fifita
17. Tolman

I think Dale will be given till the captains run to decide his fitness and Tracey will likely get another week off for the head knock. Another strong showing by Ikuvalu and Tracey could struggle to get the jersey back this year.

Gee we like a 5:30pm game!

Another easy win coming up, the Dogs have had their little decent stretch, they're done now.

Give Uncle Dale a rest.

Let’s not get complacent.
We are the Sharks after all and can do some dumb **** against weaker opposition

No slip ups this week. 2nd is still up for grabs and when its the difference between playing a final in Sydney or in Townsville then it is ****ing important. Bulldogs are there to be taken (although they do generally lift for us). So dont **** it up.

Agree totally Matty. Dogs will give it their all and it will be close for a long time.

For those of you like HB without calendars this is a Saturday game and personally since I'm a **** fan and cbf going to the live games @ a construction site this year I have been loving the time slot.

Sleep in/Chill out on Sat then loosen up on some beers at 5pm, watch the game up the road and enjoy a glorious victory and then kick on into the night happy and content, warmed up for a bite to eat and some **** talking on SF @ 2AM.

Friday night Sharks games can be a case of popping the cherry too early. The end of the work week brings it's own satisfaction already anyway.

Plus they are genuine 7 day turn arounds down to the minute - that's 4 weeks in a row of freshening up players and fine tuning things into the finals with an 8 day turn around against knights to come.

Fitz must have done some deals with former Roosters staffers to get the Sharks a softish back end draw ;)

We haven't been looking complacent either, if anything the opposite looking to really knuckle down, tighten things up and go to that next level in the last few months so I don't have the fear of dropping games against weaker opposition like I used to.

If we lose, the Dogs will have earned it but they have gone backwards since Ciraldo was announced. Almost like the players already don't respect him and are expecting Barret Mk2

I could live with that. I would also be happy if they stuck with Miller.

I think I'd still run Tracey over Miller on wing but I think strength of performance I'd run Ikuvalu over Tracey on wing

Wing: Ronnie, Ikuvalu, Tracey, Miller
Centre: Ramien, Sifa, Tracey, Ikuvalu
