Lomax does also act like a tool, although I think plays up at the crowd a lot less. Like Latrell I’m also not booing Lomax.

If he smashed one of our players faces and was unapologetic I could see him copping some boos from sharks fans next time we played them. If he complained about it I could see it continuing.
Lomax is also a spud in a dud team who gets 1% the airtime Trell does. Dragons become a threat, Lomax matches Trell in ability, arrogance and carry on then we can compare.

Until then I can rattle off Aboriginal legends of our game who are loved or at least respected and never had any of this **** follow them, even back when the world was pretty OK with racism.

Lomax has a face that says "I think I am hard done by, but I don't know the rules".

I'd wager mummy's boy and nothing was ever lil Zaccy's fault. Broke the TV trying to light the cat on fire but he cried so lets buy him a present kinda upbringing.

The way he gobs off at teammates inside & out for him throwing a flickpass to the touchie on P2 is hilarious. Can't boo that.

Take this with a grain of salt
FromThe Mole

Furious Roosters officials will put bad boys Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Victor Radley through the club's own form of anger management over the summer.

The pair crossed the line in Sunday's brutal clash with the Rabbitohs, spending three stints in the sin bin between them for cheap shots.

Club insiders largely blame the duo's brain explosions for their loss to Souths that sent them spinning out of the comp.

Both sail close to the wind with the way they play and with referees and the Bunker taking a zero tolerance approach to foul play these days, they are fast becoming a liability.

A week earlier, with Radley missing and Waerea-Hargreaves getting little game time, the Roosters beat South Sydney comfortably.

In that game the Roosters played with controlled aggression whereas in the final, both players lost their heads and the Rabbitohs took full advantage.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson is about to begin his season review and is certain to give the pair a severe tongue lashing for their reckless performances last Sunday.

Both can be fine players, but have short fuses and will need to learn to channel their anger to remain effective in the NRL.

They have the whole summer to think about how they blew it against South Sydney - and how they must cool it to stay relevant in the big games.

KNIGHTS HALVES ON THE OUTER

Something is going on at Newcastle regarding their halves.

Still looking for a replacement for Mitchell Pearce, whose move to France this year left a gaping hole in their playmaking, the club has offered both their current halves, Jake Clifford and Adam Clune, to English clubs.

It can mean only one thing - they have a halfback either signed or in mind for 2023.

Could it be a last desperate play to snare Luke Brooks from the Tigers?

The Tigers aren't budging on Brooks at the moment, but if the Knights throw in some cash to sweeten the deal, that may change.

The Knights have signed Tyson Gamble from Brisbane, but he is not a realistic 26-game-a-season NRL playmaker… more of a handy back-up.

DOGS POACH TALENTED CHOOKS

The Bulldogs have continued their impressive build-up for next season by signing two of the best young players in the Roosters system.

Phil Gould's men have poached Roosters Jersey Flegg captain and back-rower Jake Preston and prop Zac Montgomery for next season.

Preston, aged 20, and Montgomery, 19, both had impressive seasons in the Roosters team that finished on top of the Flegg ladder.

The Roosters lost a thrilling semi-final 24-22 against the Knights last weekend but have another chance to book a grand final spot when they face Penrith Panthers in the preliminary final.

Yeah those two being brain dead hotheads hurt their team alot but I think Burgess taking Tedesco’s head off was the main catalyst for the Chooks being bundled out.

Yeah their team was busted. No Manu, lost Teddy, both Walker and JWH were apparently playing with fractures.

This probably belongs in an NRLW thread, but I couldn't find one so posting here.

The rugby league media landscape is a complete joke. How can we on one hand, have a weeks worth of articles about how fans booing Latrell are racist, then a week later destroy Caitlin Moran for her comments about the queen. Do I think she should have said it, no. But the response has become outrageous.

Hadley today said "It's perhaps the most reprehensible thing ever seen connected to rugby league". I mean I know he's an A-grade *******, but a lot of the commentary hasn't been much better. She's been banned for a game and given a suspended fine of 2.5k (her salary is 10k).

My background is British and there are some serious royal fans in my family. But surely we can have some perspective that those whose culture suffered at the hands of the monarchy, might just not be so upset as the rest of the world.

Again, maybe should have been so crass about it, but she sure has copped a disproportionate hiding.

I read about this today but the article didn't repeat what she said.

What did she say?

I can’t remember but I think it was over the line, still calling it the most reprehensible thing ever seems like a massive stretch

Trying to find it again

(Oh Sparkes has added - yeah not a good look but the most reprehensible thing ever!?)

"Moran created headlines last Friday over the post, in which she referred to the deceased queen as a “dumb dog” "
Yeah OK. Look not a very intelligent thing to say but calling it "the most reprehensible thing ever seen connected to rugby league" tells you how moronic Hadley is.

Can't help but think that if it was one of the Manly 7 that said it they would put it down to cultural differences and try to sweep it under the carpet

how so? not wanting to wear a jersey doesn't mean you want to speak ill of the dead and call them a dog. Brain dead comment.
