What intent? He is voicing his beliefs, the bible says the same thing. I don’t believe in any of it but this is the perfect example of outrage culture. He didn’t single out any particular group. He cast a pretty wide net.
A bunch of specific nets more than one wide net, and towards them he voiced his belief that they should all go to hell - the worst thing, in his mind, that can happen to someone.
He believes it will happen and I think it’s pretty clear he wants it to happen otherwise why share it in social media. Nobody shares things on social media that they are neutral towards.
He’s not being fined or arrested - he’s allowed to repeat the bible. Unfortunately for him his employer has made it very clear they don’t want him publicly supporting that homosexuals be burned and tortured for all eternity.

He has free speech. He did free speech. That is free speech. Free speech doesn't entitle you to a free pass. To not face consequences from your employer for spouting hate-baiting **** on instagram. "Repent or go to hell". C'mon now.

His work, and they’ve made this very clear to him, won’t have him as their employee if his beliefs are not in line with theirs. He’s free to say it and they are, as per the contract he signed, free to tell him to **** off.
