Far from it. I’m pretty sure I was driving that message all season. My point was we played ****, lost by one point and should have beat them, but we choked.

I think we won 3 in a row twice during the year.... but somehow we going to win 5 in a row (included knights game ) to win a premiership... pull the other one showed nothing during the year that would indicate we could do it... give yourself a ulcer worrying about what ifs. Life is about reality and facts.. reality was we were never winning 5.. fact we got bundled out 1st week.

Cowboys won 4 in a row once, best they could do was 2 apart from that. Won 1 game in last six, lost the best half and best prop in the game for the season and still make the GF. It’s all about attitude . We could have done it, just werent determined enough to .

Couldn't care about cows good luck to them Im talking about the sharks.. our lack of discipline silly penalties frantic attack, was our Achilles all year. We were never winning 5

We were not consistent enough this year and gave away too much of the ball through penalties and errors.
Skill set wise we would be one of the best teams, but our discipline was ****e!
Disappointing and underachieving season for us.
Hopefully we pull our heads in a bit next season and have a good run for another crack at the title.

Just saw the highlights of the Aussie game. Fifita nailed a kick for goal at the end of the game. We now have two forwards with a %100 kicking ratio

I agree with most of what you said, but I'll respectfully disagree with the part that we showed nothing during the year that we could do it.
We kept Melb tryless in their own back yard, we should have beaten them at home except for not being able to defend a kick off. We beat Parramatta comfortably, we played one of our best games of the season against Eastern Suburbs at Central Coast, and we lost unluckily to them at home, and what Flanno said about the ref against Nqld in the semis was on the money, irrespective of what we did wrong in that game, if Gallen or Fifita had had their hands on the ball like Nqld(Bolton) had with Gallen who do you think would have got a penalty there. The thing is once you get into the semis anything can happen, they're a different ballgame than through the normal rounds. I'd say Flanagan is shaking his head along with all our squad this evening because they have missed a big opportunity despite their inconsistency, and Paul Green will make sure Klein gets a Christmas Card and a lottery ticket.
The reality is you don't know what happens once you get past that first semi win. My take is that we would have beaten Parra, and we would have got past Easts. But yes, we were consistently inconsistent during the rounds, and we really did miss Barba, & Ennis' game management and tactical kicking.
