Sharks should be ashamed of their performances this year because watching the finals we should be playing a grand final again against the Storm.

If we played anywhere near our potential we beat every team in the finals bar Melbourne and we didn't need to play them until the GF.

Forget the refs, we had ample opportunity to beat the Cowboys. Parra played their GF in the first week of the finals, they were garbage last week, we would've beaten them. Other than the second last game of this year we have the wood on the Roosters. We didn't need to play the Broncos, but they are so pedestrian against the Storm. Even the Storm don't look that great.

Damn tragic, we had the ability to play next weekend.

All of this is so true. We wound up in 5th and it was really a lucky break, it meant we played a side who only got into the 8 because another one failed miserably. We should have beat them, spanked the Eels who played all their games the week earlier, then be in a prelim against Chooks who we know we can beat. 3 weeks in a row at Allianz 7 days apart against teams who have or had to travel.

At least a prelim was served up on a platter IMO.

Big fail.

Bye bye broncos.
Master coach played a still injured Darius master stroke.

Wayne is gonna have to put up with him all summer around home though.. "Daaaaaaaaaad! Can you get me a drink, my leg hurrrrts"

Lame from the start and it nearly cost them early. Lucky for him that Melbourne's early kicks were all terrible.

Was like NSW carrying Cordner in Origin 3
Selfish players that know they're on 60% good to go

I get it from Brisbane playing Boyd. If they lose they're done, if they win and lose Boyd next week at least they made a GF and the biggest contender is outta the way. If Boyd at whatever rate he's at is better than the next option ya go for it. He does so much for their defense you'd almost have him out there as a passenger just directing **** in D when Alfie isn't allowed on.

I seriously couldn't even recall Roberts last night, went chqd his stats 7 runs 57m 18 tackles.
God sake load up on smith to win the Churchill next week. I think it's the only thing he hasn't won.. I may also have a cheeky $20 on chambers as well.(I'm still forever grateful to him not looking inside to Cronk in that split second and thinking he could trample benny)

Fittler mentionned it on commentary yesterday. To demonstrate how close Melbourne had come to win last year.
I'd say that the loss hurt them so much that Bellamy had them on a mission to win the GF all year.

Unlike the other 15 clubs?

Well I don't think the Knights or the Tigers were expecting to challenge for a spot in the GF :p

The way Melbourne played all year shows in my opinion that there's a fire burning in them that can be traced back to Cronulla's win last year.
I'm hoping for another heartache for them next week. :hoping

It's so disappointing we weren't up to standard this season, like a grand final appearance is here for the taking. Cowboys > Panthers > Roosters, like that's a very beatable draw.
