where is gards and the raiders player on that list?

Feel free to position them higher in your chosen positions if you choose.
They might make my progressed team

Someone else also feel free to add a forwards list

Was talking to a guy who I work with today who is a Bulldogs fan and he's been getting stuck into me for us signing Barba. Reckons he's a waste of money, will be out on the drink all the time and will be absolutely useless at number 6.

Sounds like sour grapes? I reckon so.

Are you looking forward to 2015 more so than a few weeks ago, Chadley?

Have to say I am HB. Seems like a lot of light now at the end of the tunnel. Still cautious though - we know what can happen with our beloved club sometimes.
Interesting to hear TK this morning on Big Sports Breakfast (yes I'm still listening). The guy who comes on for Glen Munsie at the moment said some punters had put money on us now to win the premiership and they had trimmed our price from $51 to $41. TK was then very condescending on our chances (he's right of course but he was being a prick about it!). Graeme Hughes on Talkin Sport the afternoon before said as much the same thing and unusually for him in a condescending manner.

But yes mate, I'm a little more awake now and less in hibernation! :)

Yes things are definitely looking brighter. I'll still be a little pessimistic until we have a half that can steer the team around the paddock. Ennis will definitely help, but he can't do it all.

Before all of these signings I had us finishing bottom 4. I think we may be a chance at scrapping into the 8 now, but more likely to just miss imo.

wont be useless at 6. for what we are paying him for the first 2 years he is more than worth that risk of acting up.

Here I'll have a crack:

1. Micheal Gordon
2. Sosia Feki/Val Holmes
3. Gerald Beale/Feki
4. Ricky Leutele
5. Jacob Gagan
6. Ben Barba
7. Jeff Robson
8. Andrew Fifita
9. Micheal Ennis
10. Paul Gallen
11. Wade Graham
12. Luke Lewis
13. Chris Heighington

14. Tinirau Arona
15. Anthony Tupou
16. David Fifita
17. Jayson Bukuya

All forwards bench, Ennis plays 80. If an injury occurs in game, Graham or Lewis to cover. Holmes and Brown to start the year in reserves but will definitely force their way in around the middle of the year and cement a spot.

Thats the best I could come up with. Go on, let me have it.

I was nearly going to text you this morning about tk. The bitterness in his voice was so obvious.

if I had to pick a team on what we have now*

Gordon
Holmes
Feki
Leutele
Gagan
Barba
Robson
Gallen
Ennis
Fifita
Graham
Bukuya
Lewis

Heino
Toops
Taga
Brown/Arona/Bird

I would start bukuya right edge to defend next to barba, no brainer... Wade left edge, lewy central

heino for bukuya would probably be first sub, pushes lewy to the right edge, where he has played, and played centre, to assist barba, heino to the middle

taga and toops to interchange the props but wouldn't play a high level of minutes

I would probably have leutele at right centre, he played there in 2012 and defended quite well, and feki is a left edge player, and a natural left centre

holmes and gordo to continue the interchange of fullback/wing, and holmes especially at fullback in our attacking 20

*my backline would change if we get Beale
*taga would drop of the bench if we get hunt

I think the value of boogie particularly in defense is huge.

He covers so well, he's quick on his feet and can get across to cover and has saved out asses multiple times, particularly in the cows final game when he ran down that winger in the final 2 minutes.

It's mind boggling the depth we now have . If we lost 4 forwards and 4 backs , we'd still be able to manifest a strong side (one more proper prop wouldn't hurt however)
I'm really really hoping D Fifita gets stuck into his summer strength/fitness/ training with a passion . We need some more go forward
If he started running hard and straight , we could be set and to tell you the truth I'm looking forward to the day BOTH Fifita's are on the park together.
Don't want to see Toups forced to prop unless he has to, yet it would be difficult to drop Heino to accommodate Toups in the 2nd row.
All in all your logic is very sound
