Can we back out of the Newtown deal?
No we can't without them letting us out which as they want to survive and need to be linked to an NRL club to do that - they won't.

WE probably could not afford to run a fully Shark reserve grade team but this agreement doesn't seem to offer us much.

Ok, so now our list is taking shape it's getting to the stage where we can start realistically thinking about what the side will look like come round one.

For me:

1) Gordon
2) Gagan
3) Beale
4) Feki
5) Holmes/M.Brown
6) Barba
7) Robbo
8) Fifita
9) Ennis
10) Gallen
11) Wade
12) Heighno
13) Lewis

14) Taga
15) Toops
16) Prior
17) Nu Brown

The bench is probably a bit light on and no doubt I have left someone obvious out.

Bukuya? I'd have him over Prior.

If that is the team, that'd have to be one of the strongest in the comp. Good young backlin that can make things happen (which we haven't had in years) and undoubtedly the best forward back in the league.

Bring on 2015. All we need is a good medical team to stop these fools from getting injured

Just saw the latest update on fox for our transfers.
The Ins are nice, and certainly a big improvement on last year, but what I really like is the 'new contracts'.
Weve done well there, and kept the good eggs, whilst losing some dead wood.
Especially nice to see Gagan and the love doctor on for a few more years, though id like us to throw Penani a lifeline for another year or two at least.

Ins: Ben Barba (Broncos), Michael Ennis (Bulldogs), Jayson Bukuya (Warriors), Mitch Brown (Bulldogs), Sami Sauiluma (Raiders), Jack Bird (Dragons), Gerard Beale (Dragons)

Outs: Todd Carney (Catalans), Isaac De Gois (mid-season - Eels), Michael Lichaa (Bulldogs), John Morris (retired), Beau Ryan (retired), Siosaia Vave (Sea Eagles), Nathan Stapleton (mid-season - Roosters), Tupou Sopoaga (Panthers), Sione Masima (Rabbitohs), Mark Mexico (Gateshead Thunder)

New contracts: Andrew Fifita (2018), Wade Graham (2017), Jacob Gagan (2016), Valentine Holmes (2017), Sosaia Feki (2017), Fa’amanu Brown (2017), David Fifita (2016)

Future to be decided: Tim Robinson, Scott Sorenson, Reece Davidson, Eric Grothe, Daniel Holdsworth, Penani Manumalealii, Michael Morris, Patrice Siolo

Agree. Hasn't played much first grade but he's our best winger for mine. Yes, better than Feki.

harsh on feki, I thin feki was brilliant last year, probably our best most consistent player, Gordon just finished the year brilliantly

I think Gagan has more upside and could play rep football, but Feki has laid the foundations in getting into the NZ squad
