I'd love an option to forego all the useless junk that comes with the membership. Typically it just lies around my house for a while before I throw it in the bin. About the only thing I've ever used was last year's scarf... and I see they've ditched the scarf this year!

Oh well. I think I must be the only person around here not eagerly anticipating the arrival of their membership showbag.

Yeah. I'll own up to having a larger than average melon but even allowing for that the cap is too small. Oh well, the rest of the stuff is pretty sweet, specially the pack. hanging out for my tie so nice to have that to look forward to. go sharks.

Yeah agreed garbs. I think the club would be surprised with the money they could save by having this options. The members have an idea of the financial situation and this would be another way that they could/would help out.

I got the stuff and really like it, particularly the hat, sticker and keyring. Most of this is $ well spent for the club, as it makes Membership more visible. It's really very cost-effective marketing, and I doubt opting out of receiving it would really do much for the club.

Question is though I got a family pass... do you only get 1 set, or 4?

Also... nothing the club can do about this, but lucky I got it, as Australia Post just left it hanging 90% out of my mailbox, even though it says "Signature Required on Delivery."

Next year maybe there can be a Pick Up option, as I know I'll probably never get a parcel delivered cleanly.

You'll get 4 passes. They have done pickup every other year but it adds to confusion. The more they standardize, the less stuff ups.

The hat is not so good. I don't mind the idea, but the product is of poor quality.

As with Garbs, I wouldn't mind an opt out option as there wasn't really much that appealed to me this year. however, I liked the scarf idea from last year and was glad to get that one (even though it wasn't in "Cronulla Blue" which was a major oversight in my opinion).

I'm the opposite. I love it, and I reckon it'll be good enough quality to last til next year. Of all the hats over the last whatever years I've been a member, this is probably the only one I'd wear other than on game day. Particularly like the blue and white stripes around the side.
