What I've Liked About The Program Thus Far:
- the brochure was slick

What I'd Still Like To See From The Program Moving Forward:
- less reliance on that backwards NRL membership form. I know this isn't a Sharks issue, and it's therefore shared by many NRL clubs, but the form used to sign up for a membership is so unintuitive and difficult to navigate that I'm surprised that so many people are capable of joining up. It's an absolute mess, and if it's possible to forge your own path away from this awful system, I'd recommend it heavily.

I renewed my membership smoothly this year, so I have no complaints about that part.

I do have some membership ideas for the future:
-Discounts for long-term members
-More match day benefits for members ie
Exclusive bar area
Discounts on food/drink
Express queues
-Reciprocal benefits with other clubs i.e. if we play St George twice, Sharks members get free GA admission to Kogerah/WIN and St George members get free GA entry to Toyota Stadium
-For the kids membership something cheap that make a loud noise and annoys the crap out of the opposition players near the sideline.

I've got a novel idea.

With the Members' Jersey, have some sort of an ongoing loyalty program attached to it.

Perhaps something like a sliding percentage discount for the number of consecutive years you've bought one with your name on it.

Or perhaps have the purchase price of the year's Member's Jersey 100% refunded should the team win the Premiership.

This year my (wife's) experience with the membership has been faultless.

A big thanks to Jardz and Jess for sorting out a couple of things, well done. I understand it is a huge job but you guy's have really stepped up.

This also goes to the people behind the scene that make this all happen.

Nothing has gone wrong at all.

I upgraded to a Plat Membership as well which is awesome.

I must give congrats to Jessica as well. All her phone calls to me have been fantastic and really went out of her way to help me. I hope you can pass this on to her Jards.
Loved that i could get a +1 added to my membership as well.
Love the Tie! I WANT IT NOW!

Things im disappointed with?

Not getting it before xmas... i would of liked to of got my membership before xmas (i understand having to wait for the jersey. But i would of loved everything else including my tie!)
Never received my brochure was really upset about that =(

So far I've had no issues, everything has gone smoothly, and this wasn't the case in previous years.
Loved the signed letter from yourself haha.

What I would like to see next year is choice in the extras you receive with the net membership. For example I would love to opt to get a mermaids calendar, a stubbie cooler and a keyring bottle opener instead of the usual fair. This would make me buy a membership for the wife too so I can use her merchandise. At the moment the extras you get with a net membership aren't useful and if you got two in the one household they'd be even less useful. It'd also be good to opt to not receive all or part of it so the Sharks can save some money.

Another idea would be a platinum non-ticketed membership for interstate fans that includes a signed jersey or something like that.

I would be all over this if you could add NZ into it & a seat in the box with DI meet the players at the Warriors home game... Like Taupo!!!

I will admit it I'm a slacker i haven't renewed my membership yet.

as my kids are getting older and want to go to more games I'm not sure to get a family pass in the concousre or just gen admission?
My oldest son plays league and gets a free pass anyway.

Going this Friday arvo to get my Dad a flexi 5 for chrissy.

It's nice to have the seat to sit on and it's only going to cost you an extra $70 a year, if you get a True Blue membership. I love our seats in the Eastern Concourse, as it is in Bay 8 so has very easy access to the bar (important for obvious reasons) and the toilets (important because of the easy access to the bar). Our kids love it as it is easy to access the food/icecream vendors and they always get some attention from the mascots and players at the end of the game.

The only spots to sit undercover is the ET Stand (parts of) and the Paul Gallen Stand (Southern Stand).

All have toilet blocks and Canteens and bars underneath them.

It all depends on how you want to watch the game

ET stand - you view the game form the side on angle and also the higher you sit in the stand the better the view.

Southern Stand - At the Southern end and you view of the game is different, looking up the field.
great viewing, see the field open up with different moves etc. Plus you are protected from the Southerly and rain, although the first couple of rows can get wet depending on rain and wind direction.

A view from the Southern Stand

Hope this helps

Well yes i am a slacker I had issues over the last two years even when I was told it would be looked after personally I made a mistake on the form that I filled out I didn't tick new address so everything went to the wrong address even though the correct address was on the form and so I got a call April I think saying it had came back they sent it to the new address so the wife and I got it but not sure what happened with my son if he was to get anything under the gal and pals thing he was I guess a more important then anything.

This wasn't the only thing I had problem's with lol.

I guess what I am saying is that last year I was told it would be personally looked after by Jessica but no one checked the address when inputting the data but probably it wasn't an easy thing to do seeming the system was set up by the NRL so **** happens just more to me lol.

So will I do it again this year well no doubt but once again I am very skepticle if I can get this through with no problems I may just do what snowy did and sign up as a new member maybe that will work anyway spent to much money on the family this year and well it will wait until Jan I would say.

I would be more inclined to look into our own system for the club in the future if the NRL can get their act together.

If you believe what the club says - it can be difficult to get into the ET stand.

However every season i see a lot of seats that are not occupied week in week out. Which makes me question whether the ET stand does 'fully' sell out.

agree with all that, but also think upgraded seating options for interstate matches would be good. cause of where i live
i only get to see the sharks live 2-3 times a year & away. i would prefer to pay more for good seating.
away fans seating is always ****.
