I know, hopefully with the development they could down track put more undercover seating.

The packages are good and cheaper than other clubs . ( apparently) I do think they need to advertise that more

I want to get there I know how the wind blows and gets cold, it's as bad as queens cliff in Victoria lol

Best option is take a drive down to Shark Park and try out the stands, see which one you like and go from there.

If you want to stay dry then take into account wind with the rain.

I think there have been some great improvements this year, especially with the deal for Platinum members.

What I would like to get every year:
  1. Exclusive Members Cap or Beanie (Member chooses)
  2. Members Lanyard
  3. Members Keyring
  4. Members Sticker pack with a range of good quality stickers

I think these should be a minimum inclusion every year for every member. I also recommend that this basic pack can be sent out before Xmas so it can be given as a gift. That would really do more to encourage people to buy early and give memberships as gifts. No real incentive at the moment...you may as well wait until the New Year.

On top of that I would do a different, extra item that changes each year. For instance, one year it might be a Members pen, the next a Members coffee mug, the next a Members mouse pad, etc. Not expensive things but just something different that has the Sharks branding and get's it out there.

There are a ton of promotional items that wouldn't cost more than a couple of bucks but would add to the perceived value of the membership. Pencil cases, fridge magnets, car flags, cuff links, beer glasses etc.

I also think that ticketed members should be able to buy drinks at the games at "Members Prices" with their members card. More perceived value!

That's my two cents worth!

I have never had any trouble with renewing my seats over the years even when moving. Having the extra staff member can only help service levels. There is only so much a limited number of people can do.

But I have a couple of ideas (some already mentioned) that may encourage the average fan to become a member because of what advantages they get on game day over those who have just gone to that game. This is especially the case on busy games where lines are long everywhere. If they see members in shorter lines there is extra incentive to become a member so they don't have to wait in that long line. A bit like the ET bar at present.

Game Day Members Benefits:
• Exclusive bar area or lines with drinks 50c or a $1 less per cup. Ideally when the development of the stadium gets under way have a Members bar in the extended ET stand and incorporated into the new Eastern stands - members bars on both sides of the field. They could also sell food in them. Give the members that exclusive area in each stand where they don't have to put up the away supporters
• Express queues for food given the club doesn't control food prices
• For those kids with True Blue membership have a 'Gals Pals add on' as opposed to buying the whole package given they already have paid for entry to the ground already in their true blue package

Advertising
• Advertising on the billboards at every Shire train station in February advertising membership and the first two home games. Extend this to some buses in the shire as well. I know this costs but having used this form of advertising myself it is actually quite cost effective and very visual. Even on the footbridge over the highway at Kirrawee near the Tafe. Put the logo in people’s faces and get them excited just before the season starts, encouraging them to join up.

What I've Liked About The Program Thus Far:

- Brochure was well thought out and presented nicely
- Members Tie Option
- Postage Option
- Thank you letter
- Players calling to renew members

What I'd Still Like To See From The Program Moving Forward:

- Oporto Vouchers in the packages
- members jersey available at the start of the season rather than the members round. if ya gunna pay 200 then you should have it for the whole season IMO.
- 5,10 year member loyalty bonuses

There is no such thing as a bad idea... unless that idea, of course, is to trade in your Shark Net Membership for a Red V Membership. That's a bad idea as far as the mighty black, white and blue are concerned.

This is the only thing I'm disappointed in. This needs to be the case, I almost by passed the Member's Jersey for this reason.

I concur.

Although i can see the reasons why the club would do it the way they are.

Yes there was one last year. It had all the names of those who bought one on it. I will attach a pic of it.

There is a Sharksforever members jersey?

It was actually a Believe Jersey, set up as part of our Believe campaign here on Sharksforever.

It was El Coco's baby, so I'd say we won't see another for some time, due to his current great work with the Sharks membership.

Nice modelling, by the way SBBB :)

Thanks but that's not me, Fleety. I believe it's El Coco's lady who did the modelling if my memory serves me correctly.

Haha, I stand corrected. I hadn't seen that photo before & just assumed.
I do recall an arty shot of El Coco's lovely lady on a bridge though.

This is another jersey issue.

They sold the members ones at a mass clearance at years end.
I paid the full price at the start of the year.

Dosnt sit right with me

What do you expect the club to do, Art.

The jerseys would be relatively unsellable come the end of the year, and all retailers need to increase cashflow & turnover their stock.

You pay top dollar to get your size, at the time of year you want (i.e. the start of the season).

Although, the club could have increase their value by having them signed & sold as memorabilia items.
