My point Bort re reserve grade was that he doesn't need to spend time there just to improve his game management (which was the original posters opinion).
If there are more deserving players to get the gig infront of Trindall (based on form and coaches opinion etc) than great so be it.
I assumed PS was referring to some of the reasoning behind Metcalf in 14 over Trindall.
I can see value in both options (14 vs cup) for Trindall.
Assuming Cup goes ahead 80 mins a week as the main man could be quite beneficial to him if he’s not starting in first grade and Metcalf maybe suits the utility role a bit better.
Def plenty of areas Trindall can still improve and I think some of them he arguably gets to work on more as a starting half in cup than a bench utility in NRL (especially as someone has to miss out).
Will be interesting to see how everything works out, at this stage looking like a good four way fight for three spots.
