What's the difference though? He'll play exactly the same.

He's get to skip the softening up period, make less tackles and play against fatigued defences. I think his style of play would open things up a bit more of he were fresh in at the 30 minute mark

He didn't mention anything about starting from the bench?

Yeah just thinking about a big minute defensive minded ( like Mcinness next year ) # 13 but not sure we have that .

Rudolph would start at prop with either Woods or Tolman and that would strengthen the bench .

Our middle is so sloppy ..

Keeps getting beat close to the ruck.

Glad we'll have Fin and McInnes for defence close to the ruck next year.

Glad he got that try. Hopefully it gives him a boost. He's been putting in big effort for medium results

Well our forward stocks are quiet solid for next season & as some have indicated previously we were always looking @ adding two quality forward after McInnes, we got Dale, one more to come.
Toby & others will want to tidy up some of their loose parts to their games otherwise they’ll be wearing a nice royal blue jersey next season.

Simple answer is probably just retain Tolman

The Fin
McInnes
Rudolf
Williams
BHU
Hunt
Tolman
Pele
Fifita
Talakai & Wilton able to fill in if not on edge

That’s pretty deep in the middle

Hopefully Toby learnt something from tonight.

If you're going to nut someone do it properly. You'll get 10 in the bin either way,

Jesus that was dumb. That shows a weak mentality, watch other clubs target and niggle him now in the coming weeks.

He’s lucky if he doesn’t play off the bench next year - his defence is tragic. Shouldn’t be a starter
