No thread - strange considering he is a huge prospect

After seeing his performances after a year out, I for one am hoping he has a huge off season and breaks into the team

he is my front runner for the 13 as he is as close as it gets for a like for like with gallen

huge motor, makes loads of tackles and is just an aggressive beast

*Rudolf

I concur about him being our 13 next year. Leave Williams on the bench for impact.

Wont bulk a little more for front rower ?
Just feel we're light for troupes up front .
Maybe no Fifita and / or Prior

I was impressed with the very little I've seen of him.

If he can do it week in and week out in First Grade he'll be an asset.

If he can catch a footy hes already better than Williams

Can drop a ball cant he,
here's hoping he doesn't make a career out of it like Pom did, there is hope, both Prior & Beau Scott used to spill the ball just about every game, they fixed their hands up

Well yeah if you drop two out of four we are very light, if either goes they need at least a bench quality replacement.

Currently Fifita, Prior, Woods, Hamlin-Uele so we aren't light on at all if everyone puts in.
Conversely we have lost Gal so the 13 is basically Williams and Magoulias at the moment, which does seem light on to me, unless Billy can carry on with his finals efforts.

im almost leaving willims out of the team

Assuming Prior and Bakuya aren't with us next year based on rumours and Bakuya being out of favour - I see a bench of Uele, Williams and Magoulias. So we need a 4th interchange.

If we take out Williams then we need 2 interchange players. Who are you putting there ?

Either way, I can't see him not on the bench considering he was this year and we'll be down forwards, and he was extended.

I think he's bench prop, rather than lock material.

Same Same but different. Depends on how the team is structured but they're both middle forwards so not much difference these days.

Morris might have different ambitions for the 13 now that Gal has retired so who knows what he wants there.

If we don't sign another hooker we need Mags on the bench as a utility, which means I would agree with Rudolf being front runner for 13 based on what I've seen.

Otherwise it should go to whoever is the best ruck defender. That's our biggest weakness right now and is the reason I'm cold on Williams.

Rudolph tackles everything that moves from what I have seen in the last month.

His lateral movement on return from an ACL is outstanding .

He gives off that white line fever ... no not the Wendell kind.. the Gallen and Ennis kind where once he crosses that line he's happy to get down and dirty to get that win. Love it. And we need that. Too many complacent forwards in our pack so Rudolf will be a welcome addition.
