I don't mind it, I'd also be fine with starting Woods and Phrudolf can play off the bench. I think Woods is fine as long as we manage his minutes - he can play big minutes but I think that's where you see the lazy efforts more.
A relatively close to even split between the four props is probably good for this line up, maybe Fifita can play 50 depending how his body is.
I'd also love if someone could push Boogs out of 17 - we know what to expect from Boogs if he is our 17 then so be it but even better if we have someone else that keeps him out of it.
I also don't especially see how we use Boogs in that 17 although obviously can fill anywhere in the forwards easily enough if there is any injuries.

Nah. We don’t need to lump all that pressure on him right from the start of his career when we’ve got a guy like Woods in the team. Look after the lad and ease him in. With Prior gone, I’d be starting Fifita and Woods with Uele and Rudolph off the bench.

Still don't think Williams is a starting lock. He needs to address his defence if that's the case.
Like Woods I think also Williams struggled a lot playing big minutes
Hopefully he will be a bit fitter this year and will have Billy Mags to split time with.
I wouldn't have minded Roodolv in the 13 if Prior stayed but now he can only go there if Williams, Boogs or Sorro played as a prop which isn't ideal.

I'd prefer to see if Billy can handle it, something a bit different than the usual prop at lock.

I’d still stick with Williams in the 13 jumper in round 1 as he’s been gathering the experience there shadowing Gal for the past season or so. His defence dropped a bit last year, but that can be fixed. Billy and Toby on the bench for mine. If they prove to be good enough then they’ll force their way into the 17 eventually.

Depth, particularly in the forwards (and hooker) drops off a lot outside the top 17.
Meanwhile we have Ronaldo & Katoa outside the starting backs
