I think Billy for Wade might be a chance now. I would give Trindall another go in the halves next week with SJ. To tell the truth, I don’t think losing Wade and Chad is the end of the world. Wade is playing busted in my opinion, and Billy has some fair kicking skills for a forward. Losing Uele and or Toby would have been far worse IMO

Nah, start Talakai and bring Wilton onto the bench. Billy hasn’t played for months and months. Would rather bring in someone with a little bit more match fitness in.

Give him a run. He had a shocker in defence against the Tigers, but it’s not like the rest of the team have been a brick wall. He can be a match winner in the right role (I don’t mean chopping and chasing).

With no Chad and no Graham the team needs a forward to use the ball in the middle third. Woods will do it for 25-30. Someone needs to do it after that.

why? what exactly is he gunna change? unless he can defend for the entire useless team. williams and soro are in front of him and fairly so. only advantage is the ball playing from billy
the only chance we have is for SJ to return and for some bizarre reason we learn to mark up and make tackles. otherwise it all means nothing and we are done first week of finals. changing players wont fix the issues, the players we already have need to sort their bs and so does our coach

I agree. Changing players won’t fix the issue. Changing the way we play could.
Plan A = healthy Chad, Moylan, SJ, Fifita
Plan B = make the team play as if we have all of those guys, even though we don’t
Might be time for Plan C. Billy has a rare skillset. Let’s use it. If it doesn’t work... well apparently we are going out the back door anyway, so nothing lost. Johnson doesn’t use the full width of the field like Chad does. When Chad has been our we’ve since glimpses of the forwards using the footy to compensate (mostly Woods). We need more of that whether Johnson plays or not.
