I think it was missed because Will didn't go off the field immediately. He was looked at by the trainer but played on to the end.

There was a time we were told that injuries don't come into the charges. If it's a bad tackle, it's a bad tackle no matter what.

These days it seems more like there needs to be a serious injury before the MRC will do anything.

I reckon if Stephen Crichton's ear hadn't been split open the way it was, Dale would not have been charged.
Totally right mate. It's about the effect, not the action. So many shoulder charges, head clashes, elbows, hip drops and high shots have gone by without mention in the last few weeks because the player hasn't been laid out. You can understand why they stay down looking up at the screen and basically holding up play until it's reviewed. I don't blame them for doing it even though I don't like watching it.

Yep. Kikau's shoulder charge on Tracey didn't warrant a mention because the tough little bugger got back to his feet quickly.

I reckon it's the same reason Burgess only got one week for his hit on Ronnie. Ronnie got straight back up when he was hit.

Kennedy is the pace and unpredictability in most of our attacking backline sweeps.

He's 8th in the comp for line break assists.

I hope we're not going to miss him as much as I think we are.
I think you nailed it.

WK glides along as he joins the movement and has surprising speed and puts his man away more often than not.

They're just inept.
You need a legal degree to watch footy these days. The heart of rugby league isn't your highly qualified academic type and we're getting disengaged by all the rubbish that's actually affecting the results.
We'd do a lot better as a sport to remember it's entertainment and not an ongoing investigation.

Just came back to reception and **** the match review and the explanations are ridiculous, can they **** up any more?

NAS is a Joke and the explanation is hilarious.

As you say, the nrl response to our question would be some political mumbo jumbo.

People need to be sacked without being melodramatic. That explanation was so bad it isn't funny. Minimal impact.....yeah the teeth just fell out by themselves.

That’s because the teeth slowed it down on the way there

Was a good example of this in our game last night against Dragons. One of our players tackled McGuire in what looked like a borderline spear tackle but McGuire stuck his arm out to brace with the ground and he was fine - ref let play go on so we logically assume was a legal tackle

Whats the bet if McGuire doesn't stick his arm out and his head hits the turf that the ref would have still have ruled it a legal tackle? Especially if McGuire stays down and they check the replay

I hope he’s a little more uncomfortable after watching Dykes on Saturday. Watch your back Will, you’ve got some competition now, so step up young man.
