Kennedy is the pace and unpredictability in most of our attacking backline sweeps.

He's 8th in the comp for line break assists.

I hope we're not going to miss him as much as I think we are.

Would love to hear the explanation the NRL provides.

If it's a case of we just missed it and there's a cut off they have to charge people then they should be amend that. I'm not saying weeks later but up till the Tuesday when they name a squad they should be able to review and charge anything.

Yeah the only issue I see would be they miss something on Sunday game that doesn't come up until Tuesday or Wednesday, but that team plays Thursday and have already named their side. Maybe if within X many days of the next game, or after team list already up, any suspension wouldn't apply until the next week.

I think it was missed because Will didn't go off the field immediately. He was looked at by the trainer but played on to the end.

There was a time we were told that injuries don't come into the charges. If it's a bad tackle, it's a bad tackle no matter what.

These days it seems more like there needs to be a serious injury before the MRC will do anything.

I reckon if Stephen Crichton's ear hadn't been split open the way it was, Dale would not have been charged.

Lets see if Radley's head is as special as Crichtons ear, or if it's more of a WK ankle

That was pretty gory wasn't it. The blood just flowed and flowed.

Turpin must have a pretty hard head, he didn't bleed at all.

Yep. In hindsight Will should have stayed down - not try his uptmost best to stay on the field and do the right thing.

Looking at the tackle again - that was the classic one on one hip drop. The tackler twisted his body so he could use his own body weight on Will's legs. If he tackled him facing forwards to drag him down it would not have happened

I will give the ref / bunker on the night the benefit of the doubt as he did get up however there is absolutely no excuse for the MRC.

Yet Dale showed no duty of care.....

Just hoping it's not one of our guys on the end (either end) of the dangerous throw they choose to ignore this week to keep things consistent.

Totally right mate. It's about the effect, not the action. So many shoulder charges, head clashes, elbows, hip drops and high shots have gone by without mention in the last few weeks because the player hasn't been laid out. You can understand why they stay down looking up at the screen and basically holding up play until it's reviewed. I don't blame them for doing it even though I don't like watching it.

Yep. Kikau's shoulder charge on Tracey didn't warrant a mention because the tough little bugger got back to his feet quickly.

I reckon it's the same reason Burgess only got one week for his hit on Ronnie. Ronnie got straight back up when he was hit.

Does anyone know roughly at what minute of the game the tackle on WK was?

I think you nailed it.

WK glides along as he joins the movement and has surprising speed and puts his man away more often than not.
