I really dont think that quinn was that bad. He got ****ed over by Israel a couple of times but tell me what other winger in the comp would have been able to stop him? Apart from those two tries he was very hard to bring down and is prob one of the best in the game at the moment. I'd love him at the sharks.

Why the hell would youkeep sending up bombs to the 2 best jumpers in the world? Bad tactics, poor decision making by the halves.

Gallen went missing? Don't know why, maybe he was worried about the referee. Archer hates him I know this for a fact!

I really think thats a misconception mate, his stats dont indicate he went "missing". He may not have had the impact he is capable of but he worked hard.

White, Cross...missing in action yet again.
Hoffman...very ordinary.

Yep I agree front row was shocking and Hoffman should not play origin again, and Bellamy did not make the right changes

Gallen went missing?

Far from going missing, I think that if anything Gallen overplayed his hand in Origin III; due to an absence of ballplayers in the NSW pack, Gal seemed to want to take on this role himself, and while he created some second phase play with his offloads, this also meant that he came up with some errors, which combined with poor discipline, made for an unhappy night on his part. Back in more familiar surroundings and with his ears burning from the criticism he has received in the last few days, I can see him being a real asset for the remainder of the season; he seems to be a pretty determined and resilient type, and I'm sure he will bounce back and lead from the front.

i agree theres not many, but that was a pretty savage spear
look at the photo, hes dead set on his head there
dont think anyone could have argued a binning
6 weeks says it all and was the least of what he deserved, spears end careers....now for more beers

BELLAMY.

i was a fan of this guy... until now.

he mustve known half his storm team would play origin for queensland and that he would have conflict of interest. y would he want nsw to win and dent the storm players confidence leading into the latter end of the season. his heart was never in it, and thats usually the difference in origin.

the bias he used with his influence on nsw selections...

turner and quinn are ****. they are almost second rate. theyve scored f all tries between them, playing outside two of the best attacking weapons in the game. against them they never stood a chance.

cross, white, hoffman, wtf? dont mind em that much, decent first graders, but wtf. How could any of these fowards be in front of brent kite?

ALL THE SELECTORS!

there were **** selections all series. How the fuk is fitzgibbon a frontrower. y blood a 19yo halfback in game 3 of an origin after we lost the last gfame 30-0. kimmorley or orford would have been a bit wiser. Monaghan??? ffs!

QLD TOO GOOD

just look at the lineup side by side. they looked way better on paper. qld will win the next series with 2 home games.

GAL;LEN

the entire team played poor (in attack) in last 2 games. but theres no excusing the penalties and errors that gallen made..... he had a bad game. i jus hope it fires him up for the rest of the season and not knock his confidence too much

INJURIES

i still think bird and wallace would have done a better job in sydney then anasta pearce. gasnier had a shocker in game 2, but monaghan?

I dont think anyone is to blame really. It was just a simple mistake of switching Gidley to Hooker and Stewart to Fullback. I think next year put gidley at fullback and leave Stewart out of the team.

*ahem* gorden tallis may argue that case

Tallis v Harrigan doesn't count. As Tallis said, Harrigan is a f-cking cheat. It got him marched, but thats because the truth hurts.

Photo looks shocking. A lot of momentum in it though. I agree in an average game he could cop a binning, but you don't mess with a sold out Origin decider, the game's biggest draw card, by making it 12 on 13 for the best part of the second half.

More beers indeed. :cheers

I don't think Bellamy intentionally threw the series to keep Inglis, Slater, Smith and Folau's chins up for the back end of the comp. By that logic he intentionally put Hoffman, Cross, White and Quinn's seasons end at risk of under-performance.

And if Bellamy was all about how Melbourne were traveling over Origin, why would he force selectors to further rob them of players during the Origin period and risk injury. Not to mention driving up the player's asking price next time their contracts are up due to now being a rep player.

You can't blame backs mate. They only work with what they're given from the forwards and the halves. If the forwards get beat, the halves aren't given room and are under pressure and the backs get sh!t or no ball. Game 1 the NSW forwards dominated, the halves had time and room to work and as a result Quinn had a blinder, easily out playing Inglis, Folau and Hodges.

I agree they should have waiting for next year to blood Pearce. Had injury not been an issue I think you would have seen Wallace retain the half back job with Anasta or Bird in pivot. And Gasnier would have been a shoe in over Monaghan.

Next year there is 1 game at NSW, 1 game in QLD & 1 game in Melbourne.

QLD will still win. ;)

78K, 83K, split a f-cking hair why don't ya. Either way its the closest to capacity ANZ will be getting for a while.

Tallis a grub and a disgrace? He's got nothing on our very own Paul Gallen.

Since 1980. Its not a written rule. It just doesn't happen. It didn't happen when referees had the balls to make calls. With the useless, spineless f-cks officiating these days I can't see the trend changing. Same as Quinn not getting sin binned twice for being third man in and helping start a stink. In a regular competition round, 3rd man gets a forced break, but in Origin it should never happen, and probably never will.

Cross end up in a wheelchair, please. It was closer to a cartwheel than a fair dinkum spear tackle. He rolled over the top of Myles and Myles stood up with him. There was no driving or dropping action. Nothing to do with Cross being a roach. I'll think Myles is hard done by if he does get 6 weeks and that has nothing to do with my State of Origin allegiances, and really goes against my hate for the Roosters.

He already has; pleaded guilty to a grade 3 dangerous throw charge. Scheduled to return against us in Rd 24, and we'll make him wish he had copped a longer suspension! :D

Okay then, I think he's hard done by. Even harder done by to be welcomed back to footy on the tail end of a towel up from Dougie and Ross.
