Honestly don't know what you all see in Brown. He doesn't do anything :/ he is nothing special and atm is adding nothing to our team.

About time someone said this. He shows some talent but no structure when he gets the ball its like he is the only person on the field if he is going to be a good half he is going to need a good coach.

Fair dinkum some of you are unrealistic. He's 19, playing in a a crap side, playing in a tough position in a very uncreative side, playing alongside the worst halfback in the comp...give the guy some time, a lot of time.

Agree. I'm also surprised by how well Lichaa is going. Seems like now he is comfortable in FG he is improving each game. Big loss. Lets hold Nu.

That is harsh. I think we've been a bit more sparky since he has come in and he is still on his training wheels.

I'm not saying he is rubbish but the way people talk him up you would think he is the next jt.

Well Brown at least was in demand with clubs from high school. No club wanted to sign JT and he went to the dogs for no fee only getting match payments. The media was all off the opinion he was too small and the dogs didn't fight to keep him.

How a player starts is not always how they finish - some explode have the greatest ever debut (Stewart Mills) and then do nothing some take a while to get going then go onto be a great (Cronk and JT)

lol, seriously, Lichaa adds nothing to our team

we look better when politoni is on the field

My step father played professional rugby league back in the 80's, he has a great eye when it comes to upcoming talent. Anyways he reckon that Liicha is absolute rubbish. Me and him the sharks verse Pennies game last week and he was laughing at the fact that this bloke was playing first grade for our team. Not 1 **** is given at the fact he won't be here next year. He is useless.

To be fair, they won the grand final under that gumbie looking halves pairing.

No, he left because he was stuck behind Anasta and Sherwin, playing off the bench.

thurston didnt leave because of that, for various other reasons, everyone knew anasat was leaving at the end of 2005, thurston was a serial pest off the field

I'm sure there were many other things that went into the guy's thinking, but if Anasta had went to Rugby in 03-04 as was the rumour early, would Thurston have left the Bulldogs? ****ing highly doubt it.

JT wasn't regarded all that highly at the start of his career either, if my memory serves me correctly.
Not sure that is entirely true. If you cast your mind back he was kicked out of the dogs for a very serious offence that is never acknowledged in the media.

Backdoor Benny is probably lucky he played in an era without today's social media.
