In your head, rent free
put it this way, i would have mitch brown in a 25-30 man squad over nathan stapleton

i was very critical of mitch when he played here, he sucked, but he has matured into a handy footballer, pretty reliable as well

if he returns on a deal that doesnt break the bank, there is really nothing to complain about

In today's paper it says that BJ Leilua has a clase in his contract that if Wayne goes then he's a free agent like Darius. He's a bit of a knob but a very good player & a stike weapon out wide.

any thought?

If the Tiges don't wont Mick Potter we should try and get him. He is young great track record and his team attacks so well and great to watch. He obviously Coaches his young talent very well.

Or Brian Smith he at least can get a team into the finals and has a great eye for talent.

Watching Mitch Brown at FB in the dogs game today he seems to offer no less than what Gordon does at FB (bar goal kicking)

Mitch looks fitter, faster, stronger and more elusive - if we swapped them out for each other overnight we would be no worse off from where we are right now
Likely cheaper too and is younger

Gordon is 30 and injury prone, I like him and havn't given up on him but would have no problem with the club biting the bullet with an adequate replacement and backup for some of our positions in Mitch brown while Holmes comes into the fold
Would just need to find a new goal kicker and I don't know who that would be now with Carney & Stapo gone

We have a young fb with potential that offers more than both of them

Read my edit above

Will Holmes be fulltime FB in first grade next year? I have my doubts. Mitch could fill the spot, do it better and cheaper than Gordon until Holmes takes over full time in first grade
I know the club is loyal to it's veterans though so it won't happen

Mitch can also cover other positions, keep in mind we have lost stapo and possibly will lose ayshford and wright and we will have injuries in the backrow or backs some time next year
This could mean Mitch is moved to backrow or centre for a game while Holmes come in to cover FB
