I was watching the Jets play yesterday & mogo & Tamata were pretty impressive especially the halfback, give him $100k he's got class.

Do you think that after he has burned 7 clubs that he will have learned his lesson? For all the talent that he has, I am afraid that a leopard doesn't change his spots and no matter if club number 8 comes calling, it will only be a matter of time. I'm actually a bit filthy on the Telegraph for giving this story the main spread in Friday's edition. There was a game being played in Sydney's west that night which was going to be a big crowd with 2 teams that were in the top 4 and it got bugger all mention. Instead of writing about how the NRL was fighting back in the west against the likes of WSW and GWS, they spent all their effort on this guy. Seriously, he doesn't deserve one word written about him, he has let way too many people down to be given another chance. Let alone, major space in the newspaper. Cronulla would be desperately crazy to even consider it.

We still have that 25th elusive spot to fill so if we did chuck $100K and gambled, would that matter in the big picture. The young ones may be short a year and Tamata has tasted nrl.

Isn't it worth a $70k gamble (what's minimum for 6 months) with strict conditions.............

He's no better than penani, and comes with a lot of baggage.

Had plenty of potential but he's not what we need imo.

size wise he is massive. I think he would walk all over our outside backs

He was the Panthers Stapo,
Small fella pumped up, on weights 24/7
Same ability.

EDIT:
Wiki says he's a bit bigger than i thought.
Still never rated him.
Then AGAIN : I didn't like Beau Scott as a Centre at the Sharks either.

Remember Rodney Howe? Was the best forward in the game for a while, then he got done for drugs. He was useless when he came back from his ban.
