As bad as Pearce is, it's not like nsw had good alternatives.

The current nsw halves still aren't great.

You're right but you don't tell the world it's his spot especially when he hasn't proved anything in his time wearing the 7 , losing 5 series and keeping the same 7 is dumb . Try different combinations

I don't care who coaches them so long as they keep picking some young guys. Back in 76 and 77 in the lead up to our second appearance in a GF in 78 we had a team chock full of young blokes mixed with a few hardened experienced players. Our back line was made up of Steve Rogers, Dave Chamberlain, Mick Mullane, Greg Mullane, Rick Bourke, Steve Edmonds, all 1978 players in that GF, these guys were playing in their early 20s in 76 and 77.
Whoever coaches our side has to keep blooding some talent. Currently we have Nu Brown, Jacob Gagan, Ricky Leutele and Feki in this back line. It is important for 2015 & 2016 that Valentine Holmes plays before the end of the year.

Agree with the youth policy Danga.
But coach wise, my preference is Noddy.
Noddy has halves and goal kicking experience which would help, Brown, Holmes and Penani immensely and I think he would also gel better with the younger guys like Gagan, Leutele and Feki. Gee I'm getting excited with that backline now.
Noddy has a good footy brain and I think that He would bring alot to our attack and some good structured plays.

Sheens On Sharks Role
Australian coach Tim Sheens has explained why he knocked back the Sharks job.

The Australian coach Tim Sheens has explained why he knocked back the job to coach the embattled Sharks for the rest of this season.

"I spoke to Cronulla and I would've loved to have done it for them," he told Triple M's Rush Hour live from Suncorp Stadium before Origin Game III.

"But with 10 games to go it was going to be a 24 hours, seven days a week job [and] with 10 weeks to go before the semis and Four Nations [tournament] it was just one of those things where I didn't want to take my eye off the ball in that regard.

"Although I listened to what they had to say it wasn't for any other reason that that."

He also revealed whether there would be significant changes to the Australian team because of the Blues Origin win. And if Jarryd Hayne will be fullback. Listen to the full audio below.

If we hired Price we'd also have to hire someone to fold the sweat towels. No way he can do it
