I didn’t realise Chad was on so much. That’s criminal!

Wrong. One of Maloneys best mates posts on here.

Chad is on way more than 600k. Its why Maloney had a dummy spit

That would change my view of Chad being on our roster then. I always thought for 500-600 we were getting decent value out of him, but no way he is worth anymore than that.

I would Imagine we would have

Shaun Johnson
Matt Moylan
Chad Townsend
Wade Graham
Josh Dugan

As our highest paid players. Most likely in that order.

Yes I think from memory Chad is on 50K more than Graham.

I couldn't imagine that Moylan is on much more than $600K we were paying Maloney otherwise why not give Maloney the extra and made him happy. I don't recall a falling out other than money.

What I find criminal is Dugan on a reported $850K. You left out Fifs from your list, he would be on a pretty penny as a dual international, SOO, Dally M (Forward)

Not ideal to just start upping blokes contracts mid-deal but like 33% - sure we ended up paying Moylan what we could have paid Maloney but he was having a sook and playing poorly over a contract he would have been stoked with when he signed it.
Plus he's clearly a pest every club wants to get rid of haha

Yep. This is why you shouldn't be a **** at work and sook constantly about ****.

Just put in consistently and wait for your opportunity to get more money. Strike at the right time, and you'll get ahead.

Maloney could have put his head down and worked hard and then during his second year negotiated an extension that included upping his third year rate to market rates.

Instead he tanked an entire team and focused on RLPA bull****. And he didn't win in the end, no one did in fact.

Good sentiments MB but it doesn't work in my workplace. It's run by a woman, both GMs are women and the rest of the staff is 90% women.

The men don't get a look in here.

Doesn't mean the way to get ahead is to start publicly whinging and doing a poor job. Won't get promoted giving away the most penalties in the office.
