What industry is that Chad?

And do you work hard?

Apprentices and Trainees.

Of course I work hard mate. But I don't suck up people's arses like some in here.
There are two that brown nose to the CEO all the time and get all the perks. They can't do no wrong.
Even the fact I've been here for 11 years doesn't carry weight.

Can't mate. At my age, there is no one else that will take me on and other companies in my industry don't pay anywhere near what I get.

My role is too specialised.

I don't have any other quals or experience for any other jobs.

Fair enough mate. They are all circumstances where you're doing the best you can.

People that are a bit younger and on the way up, I've seen too many be impatient and want a company to do heaps for them before they'll do heaps for a company. I'm not talking about morality or anything, that's fine, do what you want, but I'm saying from experience if you're the one that takes the leap of faith first and puts in and tries harder than what your current situation would dictate, it can lead to rapid career development.

If you under perform, it hurts your brand more than it hurts the company.

All good MB and totally agree with you.

Good sentiments MB but it doesn't work in my workplace. It's run by a woman, both GMs are women and the rest of the staff is 90% women.

The men don't get a look in here.

What do you expect working at a strip joint?

I couldn’t find the Val thread so this’ll have to do, he’s names in the centre’s this week, it’ll be interesting to see how he goes, whilst his bank balance has never looked better poor old Val is rarely mentioned in discussions these days as a gun player, IMO, at present wouldn’t even get close to being picked in a Aussie side if games were on.
I’d probably have him in my 3rd team.

Just like Hayne, seems to have come back bulked up on whatever cocktail NFL players are fed these days.

Stronger but less agility.

Yep centre suits him now but one million per year for a centre is pretty extravagant.

Fortunately he has a great coach to turn him around.
