In an era of too much meaningless cricket being played, the Champions Trophy is a nice little tournament.

Yeah I guess, but it just seems a bit pointless because they have the World Cup, i’d rather use the time to give more of the nations outside the big 3 more test cricket, most of them dont play anywhere near enough, I think our two tests against Sri Lanka was they’re only test cricket for over the next 12 months. Thats madness.

England get another Morale victory

The Pakistan crowd were really into it, good on em. Alot of them support Australia, I think cause they hate India and also have question marks over their own national team.

Did my eyes deceive me or was Alex Carey in the field instead of behind the stumps?

Correct and he took an absolute screamer.

Yea I saw the great catch

What was the rationale of playing him in the field? Give experience to another keeper?

If so Carey was kept in the team for his experience/leadership? His batting is ok but you could find a better batsman surely if you just wanted someone to prop up the batting order.

England eliminated after defeat to Afghanistan

LOL England. Boy haven’t things gone downhill for them since they arrogantly did that actual petition “play the Ashes now” after we lost the first test to India. Karma and all that.

Australia spinner Matt Kuhnemann has had his action cleared after undergoing extensive testing by the International Cricket Council.

As we knew he would be. 🙄😏

I mean I wonder if England even care? Seriously, this tournament is a joke. Only three pool games lol.
