Our team lacks an enforcer in the middle. Think it's time Wade put those big hits of his to good use.
Reckon he's been keeping them up his sleeve for the sudden death wk2 of finals?

I reckon there's a similar chance Johnny Farnham has a few big hits to come.

I think I've just accepted Graham is getting a one year deal, part of me wants him to stay for the leadership and experience but as far as what he offers on field I just think we can do a whole lot better.
I don't see it onfield. CC while I hate it it really exposed Wade a bit for me, seems a bit clueless, uncalculated and risky.

It's different with Wade. Fitz is willing to keep him on it just comes down to the dollars and cents

Kinda odd cause surely Fifs would have stayed at the Sharks on a reduced contract but I don't think there was any offer what so ever

Anyways whether you agree with it or not the coach and players love Wade and his leadership, he is starting in the 13 players for the next 12 months providing they can come to an agreement on the $$$

Fitz also said he loved Fifita but obviously not as much

So the consensus is Fifi wanted to stay but got no offer to play? Just on staff.

He said if he hung around he'd wanna play still. He said Fitz said if he hung around he'd play him, suggesting an "if you're still playing otherwise we'll find something else" kinda approach. So Fifi realises he can't stay as a player or he'll 'block paths' but isn't ready to stop, so has to move.

Whether its true or not it's a great narrative to send him out as a bloke who has more to give but had done his job at Cronulla for now & selflessly stepped aside to allow the crop he helped nurture bear fruit. When he's done playing he'll return. Big dog hasn't run away, he's just grabbing a feed elsewhere for a bit.

Could be a handshake cap dodge somewhere too lol

Fifs wants to play and we didn't have a role for him on the field. It sounds pretty straight forward.
Wade is the club captain and only just getting back up to standard. I don't think it's that strange that we'd keep him for one more year at least. We'd surely have announced it by now if he was going so he'd get a decent send-off, though it's possible Wade decides to pull the pin at the last minute. I don't think that's likely though.

For the record, I'm happy for him to accept a reduced role next year and I'd expect that's the conversation that's been had. Or step into a coaching role. Or play in France. Or... Fitz Pinnochio's Wade and he gets him back to a top level player. In Fitz we trust.

We all know if he's retained he'll be starting, I reckon that's what is most concerning.

In all seriousness, Fitz is going to keep him on for one more year.

There was worse out there tonight than this guy...
Not getting paid what he is there wasn’t!

Surely they dont sign him again….

1) Brings nothing to the team it doesn’t already have
2) has been crap (or injuried) since 2018 and will be another year older
3) is taking the spot of a kid that is already better then him, that will be even better next year
