As much as thats a **** move by val, remember his management is behind a lot of this

Yep. I know players should be expected to know their own minds - some don't have one though - but across a lot of sports I do often wonder at the influence and advice wielded by managers and agents. And a lot of it seems to come down to the moolah.

I said...
I'd like to officially thank Val for leaving. Just watched SJ's media event and the guy just oozes class. We're a better club with this guy than we'd ever be with Val, regardless of playing ability.

Yeah this.

I’ve still got no hate towards Val despite everything that’s happened.

Because Val is gone we have a better 1 than last year and a better 6 than last year.

The team is better.

He had the potential to be a great 1 but wasn't there yet. A try scoring freak, but couldn't quite get positional play, couldn't set up a man as well as the best 1's and due to average positional play wasnt the best defender.

I was sad but I'm more relaxed now.

On another matter, I can see Junior steering the ship and kicking in the mid 80% for us soon.

Bring on 2019.

we don't have a better 1 - not in attack at least as Val's defense was atrocious and any FB will be an improvement on that aspect, although he did get very good at contesting and taking high balls so he had that going for him

a better 6 yes

Moylan won't score as many tries as Val did this year but he'll set up more and contribute more in other ways - repeat sets etc.
