Nah, no one would’ve expected him to pull what he pulled. Otherwise we would’ve signed someone up in advance. I think they always knew he was likely to leave after 2019 though, which is maybe why they opted not to put him on the calendar.

My thoughts exactly. We’ve replaced a world class player with another world class player. Flanno didn’t panic buy when Val pissed off and low and behold, a world class player popped up in front of him ripe for the picking.

I’ll never be worried about another player leaving again. If you have money you can pick up just about anyone.

Is Flanno the best recruiter in the game atm? I’d throw brown in the mix, but it only started with Ponga last year. Flanno has been picking up stars since he got the gig
