Lets see how he links up with Nico in the season proper, if he gets the chance which im hoping he does.
If he does then he does but I'm not gunna 'hope' Moylan gets injured
I know you're not specifically saying that but that's the main way Trindall gets a start, or Moylan so bad he's dropped, also don't want that.

That was crazy,
TPJ trying to win the Joey Laloula
TPJ trying hard to take out the Joey Leilua brain-dead award .
Don't think anyone can overtake him this game
TPJ honestly doesn't deserve to be in the league. Although picking which bulldog player does something stupid off-field first this year is going to be tough.

Nico leading the team out was interesting, I like it.

Fitz switching some things up. Tracey off, Ronnie to the centres and Ikuvalu onto the wing.

If he does then he does but I'm not gunna 'hope' Moylan gets injured

Or if the combination completely bombs which is a legitimate possibility. Not hoping for that either but I still hold grave concerns about this combination’s ability to give a good controlled long kicking game, although Hynes’s All Stars performance made me feel a bit better about it, in sayng that im still Hynes/Trindall for the moment, I hope I’m swayed after the first few rounds.

Also no, not hoping for Moylan injury here.

Im enjoying the fact that these trial games are televised and taken a bit more seriously from a presentation perspective by Fox. Helps build the excitement for the season and gives more exposure to young guys who are trying to force their way into the 17

Technically go to the dogs first try
Should not have been a try. Play the ball SHOULD have been called up
Burton finished off a bogus try - 30 nil. good work...but than again domeone will say the ball the play was legit
FMD creaming ourselves over burton. Yeah he’s good but see if lifts them for a season, has he got the character to lift and drive a side.

TPJ is a grub, thug, mug, slug...not a lot upstairs.

Good to see they did the 1%ers right

Although some work to do
Berrell wtf two forward passes from dummy half - improve that son
Some brain explosions. In early sets- Trindall wtf last tackle runs it into solid defence on the last...is it 2020/2021 all over again - Put the pill on the toe - get the defence retreating and chance a try or repeat set. he did run it a second time when the defence was brittle and did well.

Good signs
Jesse coulhoun
Hazleton before head knock looks Fg material
Ramien owned naden
WK solid
Nicho F'n Hynes
Defence was different tonight
Completions
Royce hunt was the royce hunt I wanted to see tonight
Missed tackles
The nickname John rambo!!! Love Dale!
was there something there from Fifs?? - when he went straight he got yardage

Bummer about wado poor guy!

Good to see shark park again. Love the construction back drop better than a cess pool swamp!!!

That was a pleasing game

- Hynes looked good at 7
- Finucane is just a weapon, can't wait till we have him and McInnes on the field.
- Effort in defense is chalk and cheese compared to last year. We're hitting and sticking, getting up in numbers. Can only imagine our defence will get better as they get more time together.
- Forwards were all very strong. Uele and Hunt were great.
- Brailey's service was first class.

Whether it be the impact of Fitz, Dale, Cam or all 3, the entire forward pack have stepped way up.

Huge difference, for me that was the most pleasing thing as I was pretty comfortable (even more after All Stars) Hynes would be fine at 7, Finucane was a fairly known quantity.
Good efforts by BHU and Hunt, both made very significant positive impacts on game and forwards in general good - need to keep it up and have the boys missing join in.
Blayke played well but also pleased except for two forward balls to Pele Berrell looked competent also.
