Hynes/Moylan combo looking even more likely.

Surprised Dykes is getting a run over Metcalf. Wonder if it's injury, position or the Warriors factor.

Looking forward to the game!

I reckon this was always going to be the case though tbf.
All signs have been pointing to it.

Hard to say after just one game, but Hynes looked a natural halfback last weekend. They'll probably link up well together.

Still worried about Moylan's injuries disrupting the team though.

Without even comparing the rest their 1-7 has 115 games to our 23

Yeah me too.

He's also way too slow these days, let's hope he can actually run this year.

Yes, I think Fitz will start Moylan 6, Hynes 7. At least he has the luxury of putting Trindall in there if Moylan breaks down. But that won't help if Trindall is not in the starting 17.

I'll take correct pass selection (speed and accuracy of pass being a part of this too) over personal speed anyway
On our right for example do you hit Nikora on his line, Kennedy to keep playing the ball out, Ramien with some run up or cut/kick to unmarked Sione. I know every team has players that can do stuff but I'd rather our half be better at reliably nailing this decision than be a tiny bit faster.
Who is Trindall beating in a foot race? Is he even notably quick?

Trindall I think a good chance to make 14 but otherwise we have other utilities or maybe even Graham who can cover halves if Moylan goes mid game.

I am really really hoping for 2/3 of a season or more from Moyza

Yep, perhaps Trindall at 14 if Fitz is not going to put four big boppers on the bench. Even so, Trindall can cover at 13 if need be.

There is nothing I'd like to see more than a fully fit and firing Moyza but like HB, I'm very skeptical.

Don't know, I wasn't talking about Trindall.

Last year Moyza wouldn't have beaten a prop in a foot race.

Given Wilton, Nikora and talaki can cover centre, Tracey can cover wing and Graham, McInnes and Tracey can cover 5/8 and half and Tracey and McInnes can cover hooker not sure we need trindall on the bench.

If we have One of Wilton or Nikora on the bench with the other likely to start and have Jack Williams, Talaki and a prop I think we are versatile enough.

If Trindall isn't starting in the halves it might be good for him to be playing with the Jets so that he can keep developing his game in that position

Someone needs to have a serious talk with Fitz, this is pretty concerning. Doesn't he know Trindall is the only player who can direct a team around?
It would be far too much pressure for Hynes to wear a 7, and this kid hasn't even played NRL. Ridiculous.

Very exciting lineup to see a few of the deep depth guys show their wares.
I'm very concerned you want to give Trindall a run in FG over Rivett. This Rivett kid is full of potential, which means way more than some okay performances in the top grade.

I know you weren’t but why I’m asking (in general) is if we shouldn’t pick Moylan because he’s slow does that mean Trindall also shouldn’t be in consideration?
Or am I forgetting some crazy speed from him at some stage?

No way, Rivett is the only one who can hold the side together!
