So first trial match this Sunday against the Panthers.

Of course, we don't take much from trials these days, just important that everyone gets through unscathed.

This is at the old Bank West Stadium, which is now Commbank Stadium.

I haven't put the time on the thread because the NRL website says 4pm but Kayo Sports, who are streaming it live, says 5pm.

Anyone know which is correct?

As it is a double header with Eels v Dragons on NRL & on tickets as 6pm assume 4pm is more likely the correct time for Sharks v Pennies

Maybe Kayo isn't actually Live ? or they messed themselves up with the daylight savings lol

In past years some of the trial streams have sometimes been behind the live game or was that just a bad connection ha. I recall broadcast issues though

Local product Kade Dykes, son of former Sharks star Adam, has impressed throughout the pre-season and gets his chance at fullback, with his former De La Salle Caringbah teammate Sam Stonestreet named on the wing for the Cronulla side.

Gold Coast youngster Ryan Rivett partners Trindall in the halves, with 2021 Queensland Cup Player of the Year Jayden Berrell to play his first game in Sharks colours in the trial match on Sunday.

The squad has also been bolstered by players from the Newtown Jets, the Sharks partner club in the NSW Cup, included amongst them Rhys Davies, Zac Woolford, Charbel Tasipale, Reubenn Rennie and Angus Ernst, as well as Tom Hazelton and Zac Cini, two to have trained throughout the summer with the Sharks fulltime training group.

Will be good to see these young guys having a run. Especially keen to see Rivett play.

It's usually the second trial when you play the top team. For the first half or so.

Trindall at 6 is interesting
Someone needs to have a serious talk with Fitz, this is pretty concerning. Doesn't he know Trindall is the only player who can direct a team around?
It would be far too much pressure for Hynes to wear a 7, and this kid hasn't even played NRL. Ridiculous.

Will be good to see these young guys having a run. Especially keen to see Rivett play.
Very exciting lineup to see a few of the deep depth guys show their wares.
