Card Shark, I have edited your post a bit to make it more obvious that you answered 'gosharkies' questions.

Thanks for the answers and feedback by the way.

Thanks & no worries, happy to help. I kno if I'm not seeing a game, I have a thousand questions.

It was a good trial for us, Flanno would've learned a few things. We'll go alright this year, it's just a matter of some fine-tuning.

Maybe he learnt to get an extra 5 minutes out of them. Come on flanno only 5 more to go

by the sounds of the report he got them for 79 minutes and 30 seconds

This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where all Homer did was mock Flanders from the stand when he was coaching.

Marge: You know, Homer, it's very easy to criticize. Homer: Fun too.

I'm sure most of us remember how that episode ended?

It reminds me of when people, through their own lack of comprehension skills, fail to understand a concept and then criticise it based on their lack of understanding / comprehension.

Unfortunately most aggro in the world comes from **** like that.

I did see a highlight on Fox sports news last night of the game. Of course they were interviewing Bennett and only taking about the Knights, but they showed footage of the Tahu try that won the game. Leutele was at right centre and Wright outside him on the wing. They threw a short ball to Tahu and Leutele should of made a regulation tackle and ended that raid. Instead he completley wiffed on his assingment and went to tackle the backrower leaving Wright on the wing to come in and try and tackle Tahu. No chance, Tahu went over with ease.

Thought I'd share since we've heard SFA.

isnt that funny, some ****wit on LU blamed friz for the try

to me though, it looked like Bukuya was the centre, not leutele, but i could be mistaken

everyone in our backline is bar gards

i would rather a 22 year old leutele making mistakes in the team than a 29 year old making worse ones

Yeah it may have been Bukuya actually. I only caught it from a far and to me it looked like Ricky. Either way my concern of edge defense is still there. We will leak tries outwide. Our forwards will keep a strong defensive line though. We've brought in some great ruck specialists.

I don't care for this "blood the youth" stuff.

I just want the best players we have TODAY playing First Grade. But I'm not certain who that is, exactly.

If the best juniors can't categorically shut out Best and Pom for a starting position, then they aren't ready for first grade.

AGREED 100%

They're not going to get an easier mountain to climb than Pom/Best, at any team in the NRL. If they can't break into the Sharks backline they're not NRL players.

that isnt my problem, my problem is we never find out if they are good enough.

how many times was pom not named, only to be a "late inclusion" into the game

best has a shocker in brisbane, wright plays well and is dropped. why? leutele doesnt play bad at centre against the titans, gets put on the wing a week later, doesnt play all that well but is out of position and then gets dropped.

can you guage leutele's nrl career on 3 games? if you can, you're in the wrong industry
