WOW Jedman looks like the force is with you Price looks to be gone with a quad tear for some time. karma seems to work in funny ways.

I hate to see anyone get hurt ,BUT, thats not really the same as a young bloke having his career playing the game he loves taken away from him at such a young age.
Karma would be if Price had a son and at age 20 he had his knee smashed by some fool on the footy field doin a charge down.
Would it just be part of the game then Steve????

i say when the warriors play at shark park, wait until price comes out and some of us jump out with a sledgehammer and BAM straight to the knee, then the fag will know how it feels

Tony Caine back!

... a member of one of the most successful families in rugby league history, veteran hooker Corey Hughes, is preparing to turn out for the Cronulla Sharks. ...

Veteran Bulldog switches to Sharks
BY MICHAEL CARAYANNIS

<EDITED> Full article can be found here.

Hughes played with Sharks' coach Ricky Stuart at Canterbury, but reckons he won't be getting any favours from his old teammate despite the departure of fellow rakes Kevin Kingston and Isaac De Gois.

He has Terrence Seu Seu and former Dragon Tony Caine who returns following a two-year hiatus from the Sharks also after a hooking spot.

I was going to say the same thing, I hadn't heard anywhere before now about Cain being back in the team. If he's got his confidence back in his knee, he will be an awesome pick-up. Cheap too.

Warning not for the faint of heart

hope his knee is ok now what a horrible injury he received, I remember he just came on the field in his 1st game and first touch he kicked from dummy half and that over extended knee image is embedded in my memory

yeah that was a bad injury alright, why did you have to remind me of that, and then he pissed off to another team

Good to hear TC is back. He had some raps on him before that horrific injury and if he can get his football career back on track I'd rather it be in Sharks colours.

he may not be the same player as he was developing into after the injury, keep that in mind, "but anyway let's hope so" as Tony Greig from the 12th man would say.

May not be the same player? No way in hell he will be the same player. There is no way you suffer an injury like that and come out the same person (or footballer).

Physical injury does not have any impact on talent. If he was a gifted footballer, he will always be a gifted footballer. Its all about whether his head is in the right place to put that talent to good use.

not uncommon for the knee to never be the same with that much damage either

Hughes will start at hooker because of his tough gritty aggressive defense, but we can only hope TC (Tony Caine) gets back to his best, then I would have him there for sure.
