totally agree. yet to be impressed by hughes. caine on the other hand so far, so good. That's pretty much how Ricky used Kinga and Isaac last season. For mine the jury is still out on the acquisition of Hughes; I wasn't a big fan of bringing him to the club in the first place and although we are only two games into the season, I haven't seen anything from him so far to change my mind. Caine in contrast showed glimpses of his capabilities last night, and I think Seu Seu also has a fair bit to offer.
And point him in Rachael Muldoon's direction.
Willy and GW are right. Send Hughes out to tackle and do the high percentage stuff in the opening parts of the halves then put Caine out there to carve up a tiring defense. I'd maybe even play Snowden off the bench to tear in off the back of the nippy dummy half work - he bent set defensive lines lastnight, he'd slaughter a retreating defense. Dougie and Snowden were awesome together, but you immediately noticed when they went off for a spell.
totally agree. millo and norrie arent bad but they are miles bellow dougie and snowden. noticable difference when the double change was made. i say either start douglas and millington and then do a double for snowden and norrie, or, douglas is pretty fit, so start dougie and snowden but dont interchange them both at once
Caine Should have a blinder against the Goons as they told him he was not needed
didnt he retire because his knee was still giving him strife?
