Please! If Ricky Stuart can not see the DRAMATIC improvement in speed and attacking options with TC on rather Hughes, I am not here.

For me, I would play Hughes the first 20 minutes, then bring on TC for the back half of each half.

I agree, but Tony Caine should start the game, and I seriously think we should be using Seu Seu instead of Hughes. Seu Seu is great in defence and darty out of dummy half.
Hughes is way to slow!!! :cheers

Same here Master. WE need some speed to get the opposition on the back foot and get them asking questions in defence

Caine had limited time but he still didnt do that much to make me think he is better than hughes. He wasted a few opportunities as well as a few knock ons

Which game were u watching.. I think he added some spark to our attack.. Got us on the front foot for a while.i agree he has alot more to do to say he is better than hughes but i think he was really good in the time he had.

i think wat let us down was a few errors on the line... williams bat back when he should have just caught the ball and then the pomm droped ball..

Well I decided not to post much last night wasn't happy with the result but really didn't expect much more.

not having Seymour did hurt us it was obvious but I think green did as well as to be expected.

The Refing was a poor show on their part even the commentators after the game commentated on it I wont go any further on that did Ricky say anything?

Caine and Hughs well I would like to see Caine on for the second part of the first half and same with the second half I actually rate him over Degois just on what I have seen last night give him some more time and he will fly.

As for Reni he needs more time its been limited with us and will get better people calling for his head already make me laugh though.

Simmo well what can ya say, he just doesn't have it and needs to walk away from the game I think I will just nickname him Road kill.

Long way to go people.

GW stop stealing my bloody thunder :D

Great minds think alike.

That's pretty much how Ricky used Kinga and Isaac last season. For mine the jury is still out on the acquisition of Hughes; I wasn't a big fan of bringing him to the club in the first place and although we are only two games into the season, I haven't seen anything from him so far to change my mind. Caine in contrast showed glimpses of his capabilities last night, and I think Seu Seu also has a fair bit to offer.

I don't know what kind of contract Cain is on however I think we should sign him up for next year at least.

For mine Cain should be our first choice hooker and as I said previously I hope he holds his place when Seymour pushes Green out of 1/2.

get tevita latu back

And point him in Rachael Muldoon's direction.

Willy and GW are right. Send Hughes out to tackle and do the high percentage stuff in the opening parts of the halves then put Caine out there to carve up a tiring defense. I'd maybe even play Snowden off the bench to tear in off the back of the nippy dummy half work - he bent set defensive lines lastnight, he'd slaughter a retreating defense. Dougie and Snowden were awesome together, but you immediately noticed when they went off for a spell.

I thought Caine well and truly outplayed Hughes last night. Someone remind me again why we let DeGois go....

I think it was Hughes who made 2 bad reads in defence that lead directly to trys
