Will depend on how it plays out on the day. If he plays 60 at fullback and then hits the showers again he will be starting there in round 1. If he gets an equal run at the back and in the centres then it could depend how barba goes at the back.

Got through 4 years of robbo at halfback so you'll be right. But i agree, this team selection is baffling

I'm guessing Bird got promised fullback when he re-signed. If that did happen I'm dissappointed Flanno didn't give Feki and Holmes a run at centre over the two trials.

I'm very worried about our edge defence this year. Maloney and chad aren't great defenders, Lewis can struggle, and Leutele and Feki can make poor reads.

I think leutele is going to be sharksforevers Pomeroy/Robson for 2016.

I don't mind Bird at the back if we sell Barba. That much spent on a bench player is ridiculous.

Ideally, bird plays centre and we all sleep easy.

I think Bird has the potential to be a good fullback, but I doubt at his best he would be as good as Benny is at his best. I like Bird, but I think he must have the best publicist in the game, cause he is spoken about as the best up and comer in the comp.

Last year he went missing in more games than he excelled in.

Now I don't want to wish anything bad on any player but what if Luetele was picked Round 1 and got injured and couldn't play for a couple of weeks. Do we still trust Flanno to put Barba at fullback, Bird to Centre? Or will he come up with another plan?

TO be perfectly honest if Ricky is our worst player on ground, we are doing fairly well compared to recent years. He isn't amazing, but he isn't a bad player. No I wouldn't pick him in my team.
